nothing to do with current status- solondo was the old sunken dredge that was feasoed to see if it could be rebuilt- it wasnt considered viable due to cost- tis why the new dredge went to the drawing board and the dry mining plant has commenced. Productivity wont be affected. the authorities within sleone will deal with the theft matter of old, scrap equipment , quickly and efficiently- even the genuine sleone people take the matter of theft very seriously. You can be sure there will be a review afterwards to test their systems. any concerns drewy contact the nomad or the company direct- it wont affect production. imo if anything a rather stupid act, by those concerned. Indian scrap dealer if responsible should be very worried. pala could always use this matter as an opportunity to overhaul their internal security procedures/vetting etc. brazen opportunists? just my musing, thoughts corbs:-)

The group said TFL had completed the acquisition of a 50-year lease, with a 21-year extension option, over a previously producing cocoa and coffee plantation covering 1,208 hectares, located 40km from Kenema in south-east Sierra Leone. The plantation, which was previously run by Beresfords, the international plantation group prior to the civil war, will be rehabilitated and redeveloped in order to recommence the production of cocoa, coffee and additional cash crops. A further 546 hectares, located contiguously to the north of the plantation has also been signed on the same terms as the plantation.
