Good to see MTR starting drilling at Kalahari Metals. Will they hit copper? Perhaps...

The high volume today could be marking the bottom ie. share price? I wouldn't want to be short this stock given prospective M&A.

This improves the attractiveness of Molyhil to a potential investor / buyer. Argent will no doubt be informing all interested M&A parties of this latest news.... Why is the share price so low?

Does anyone know when these guys will start drilling again? I’m not investing until the drill rigs start turning... Are they all on holiday?

MTR's stake in MOD is worth £14m based on my maths (31.8m shares and 40.6m warrants with nil exercise price)....
So the market is only putting a value of £6m on MTR's other assets incl cash (market cap £20m). If cash is £3m, then only £3m for Kalahari, other listed investments (Veta, Greatland, etc), T3 royalty, etc. Looks cheap to me.

It looks like MTR have scored today with GGP. Good to see the equity trading arm performing!

It looks like MTR / Kalahari Metals may have found copper very near T3! Has everyone spotted this? The implications are pretty obvious...

I think this helps underwrite the current share price, and it's only 1/2 a warrant so not so bad in my opinion. Sounds like they will be using some of this money to drill KML properties.

Metal Tiger's average in price was 1.72p. I would expect to see support at that level.

Agree @ Casey. It is a bit odd that the MTR share price is not tracking the MOD share price and/or copper price. I expect this issue will correct soon (to our benefit!)

The results today are not great but not bad either. What's so bad about 150m @ 3.5g/t Au eq? 89m @ 3.6 g/t Au eq? It also takes time for mining companies to understand the location and nature of the ore bodies. Often the best drill holes come much later in a drill campaign. It will take time to drill out this deposit. V. pleased to see they are moving to 2 drill rigs in March so we should pick up pace here. I intend to top up sub 2p. Cheers! GLTA

THR share price is also up today. And GGP. MTR holdings appear to be heading north...

A bit of action over on the MTR BB with Sandfire looking to buy MOD. GGP also a holding for MTR. Maybe they see the same happening here? Smart guys at MTR and they are in the money (avgerage GGP in price 172p).

Good drill results + potential M&A = GGP going to 300p IMO

I'm willing to bet Sandfire come back with a higher offer. Probably 50c. MTR will trade at 2p tomorrow. Good to be back in the money again. GLTA. Shorters - I will see you on the other side. Hehehehehe

MTR's investment in GGP appears to be doing well. It appears that they still know how to make money despite the market being awful. Why would anyone bet against them? :)

It's 2019 and all AIM listed mining equities are on SALE at 70% off normal price. Trump will do a deal with China, and Brexit won't be so terrible. This sale won't last long. ALL STOCK MUST GO.

MTR ridiculously cheap. My target price 2.0p by end of Q1.
