Well Geordielad, I lost £14000 on this sh*thouse of a company with its self satisfying BOD milking it for all it was worth. I wouldn't trust them an inch even with the supposedly new broom that we presently have. I still retain my virtually worthless shares in the event of a miracle gaining some sort of return but optimism is not on my list.

Sorry it should have read FDI not VIY in both instances. (VIY, another company lacking communication skills!)

in an RNS issued on Dec 5 2011, VIY stated "the Company intends to announce a summary of results of both production and diamond sales on a quarterly basis." Since the last announcement was on May 7th, the latest announcement would appear to be overdue! (as was the last one).

I think you will find in a previous RNS that it said statements would only be issued quarterly.

I guess that is the understatement of the year!! I have the same problem with VIY. Over the years have learned that the main beneficiaries of most of these shares in the AIM are BOD's who don't stint themselves. We are the mugs that support their lifestyles. However, being in deep, the only option, as with most of us is to hang on and pray!!

Yes, it was regarding the police business. As you say it is ridiculous but this is Africa!! It appears that FDI are also waiting to be advised what is going on! There was some mention of disgruntled dismissed employees but I don't know whether this is pertinent.
