Think the negative and positive factors cancelled each other out. Seems to be steady now without too much penalty from the RNS and hopefully price progress will slowly continue as before except that the period is now a little longer..

Ticking over nicely. I wonder if we are going to see a slow and gradual improvement toward completion here rather than punters saving their cash and waiting for when they guess there will be a bigger rise near the end of the year. Whichever way suits me! Rarely am I optimistic about a company but all the signs look good for this one.

I'm looking forward to all those fancy big ones coming out in one piece!!

If production is envisaged at the end of H1 2016 as stated then the share price should certainly be geared to that by then.

I agree. As I said before, as we gradually approach production, every bit of progress will hopefully raise the share price. I also think that this is eventually going to be a winner with the present environment in the market price and the loss of some mines helping to eventually encourage a rewarding result for us. Also there will be those who see the potential and want to be in before completion and increasing or initializing their stake before further increases in the share price.

I was with KDD too! What a fiasco. I really think FDI has good possibilities, seem to be well established and they were originally getting good results before the closure . With the new gear not crushing larger diamonds and with the good market outlook for diamonds and the loss of some present sources, this company could excel. Good to be in now as inevitably, towards production, there will be a steady rise. Fingers crossed.

Yasou! I'm trying to spend it but the wine merchants, the girls and the casinos keep wanting more. PDL(possibly) going up from from 1.90 to £2 doesn't seem much of a big deal. Fortunately doing much better with FOGL and NIPT who are racing up at the moment and helping to feed my habits. HER will hopefully come in later in the year when they start mining their minerals. I need another glass of champers after all this typing!

As you say, patience may be needed but at 82, patience might be in short supply and long term investment might be a luxury! Might have a punt on Firestone Diamonds which should show good gains approaching the opening of their new Liqhobong mine and thereafter.

Interesting article from DT but as far as I can see, in all its years, PDL share price has never risen above 211 so not really sure why it should start showing a substantial rise in the future. It certainly looks a very good sound company but the performance hasn't really shown it in the share price up to now. Commentators are always pushing it to reach 250 or so but there have been no signs of this happening Any comments?

Addendum, reason probably due to fluctuations in the diamond market so if anyone has details of exceptional changes in this , info would be appreciated.

On contact with PDL, I am told that there is no un-notified problem and that the trading update is due on January 26th.

Can anyone suggest a reason for the considerable drop in the share price? There does not appear to be any event to warrant it.

Sure hope so! This share is as volatile as anything on the AIM.

What has prompted the present rise?

what is it with this company? buy recommendations from 16 brokers, excellent set of results and forecasts for the future and yet they are down 4% and never seem to show their true value in the share price. Is there something I am missing here?
