Just to be clear - where I said 'cancelled' below these monies will be returned to the shareholder. So as in the example below 16,305 equates to approx. £11.41 (less costs). Any returns due below £5 will not be sent.

And unfortunately after the consolidation you will own 400 shares @ 8.75p (ish) 66,305 - 16,305 (cancelled) = 50,000 / 25,000 = 2 x 200 = 400 shares This was what I was getting at in my post earlier - people who have brought these shares in the past are just ordinary folk (not traders and dealers) - sold a story. Sad...

....some 2,097 shareholders (out of 2725) had holdings worth less than £17.50..... Well, Mr.Tomco, I wonder how that managed to come about. The problem with the share price being at 8.75p is that it won't be for long. It will be walked down and before you know it you will be at half the value today - without any meaningful news (which I believe will come). Not really sure how this saves on admin costs as nearly everybody deals electronically these days. I'm not bitter about this - I just feel sad for ALL those people who have brought into this company over the years and are now being shown the back door. Best wishes.

OK thanks - thought you may have had a better understanding of the dividend situation. I guess that if Zegona now owns 15% of Euskaltel it still owns part of Telecable's debt too.

Actually in trying to answer my own question - if it were a Special dividend (cash return) at say a payout of 50% €186.5m cash = £160.0m x 50% / 193million shares in issue = 0.41p per share Show me in errors in my thinking!! What do you think?

Would you know if this means they may be a Special dividend or does it just mean they can continue with their normal dividend? The Utah State leases expire in December 2024. (From a Beaufort Securities PDF in March 2013). The Construction Permit goes to July 2020. (RNS July 2016) - which is probably what you are thinking of. Can't find any to the contrary to the above - unless anyone else knows any different.

Let's hope so!! This has always been one of my favourites and I very much like the technology involved here. I have been in this share since the days when Tom Bulford was at the RHPS letter when the SP was around 1.25. I sold out for a loss when Redleaf put everything on hold but recently took up a long term position in my SIPP I am confident of making back my small loss plus would love to see this move back up to the penny region sometime in the next five years (or sooner obviously lol)

Not sure I understand why that is really, as I got the RNS at 7.00 on my 'Vox Markets' App this morning. Perhaps is just a London South East thing.
