Finally came though Pearo.....nice one........took a while to report. This company could well have turned the corner......another contract soon.....who knows.....if the product does the job (which it does).....more sales could follow IMO Worth a punt anyway.

LONDON (Alliance News) - HaloSource Inc said on Wednesday that a group of directors subscribed for shares in its placing on Tuesday, when it raised GBP1.8 million through the placing of 117.6 million shares at a price of 1.5 pence each. Shares in HaloSource closed up 90.5% at 2.00 pence on Wednesday. Chief Executive Officer James Thompson subscribed for 3.2 million shares. He now holds 3.7 million shares in the company, representing a 1.1% stake. Strategic Adviser Martin Coles acquired 533,333 shares. He now has 1.3 million shares, representing a 0.4% interest in HaloSource. Non-Executive Chairman Alan Matthews subscribed for 666,667 shares, bringing his total holding to 901,800 shares, or a 0.3% stake. Chief Financial Officer Craig Crowell acquired 333,333 shares, and he now has 353,333 shares in HaloSource overall. Finally, Non-Executive Director Kent Johnson subscribed for 1.1 million shares, bringing his total holding to 1.9 million shares, representing a 0.6% stake in the company.

What on earth are they talking about? Is the heat getting to everybody? 1.29pm: HaloSource shares plunge HaloSource Inc. (LON:HALO) shares plunged 73.81% to 0.275p as the clean water technology company announced a Chinese e-commerce partnership. The group has reached a deal with Shanghai JiuBan Industrial Co. Ltd. to distribute a new line-up of filtering water pitchers and bottles, marketed under HaloSource's new astrea brand via e-commerce in China. Under the five-year exclusive deal, JiuBan will purchase 360,000 pitchers and more than one million replacement cartridges, representing more than US$10mln of revenue to HaloSource in the first three years. Earlier this month the company had warned investors it faced possible insolvency but yesterday it announced it had raised £1.8mln to provide working capital to fund the company beyond the second quarter. The fundraise will also allow HaloSource to continue on the development and scale-up of its new lead removal technology.

I used to be invested in this company when it was in it's 20's (probably around 24) but think I pulled out at around 16p if I remember correctly. Having seen it on the risers board I thought I would re-visit. Firstly, (if anyone can kindly answer) - was this company about to go under two weeks ago if it could not raise funds and there was no Chinese approval? Secondly, they now suddenly have this contract and are able to sell via JuiBan into China? Thirdly, why two 'Tickers'? I'm a little confused. Could someone summerise some background info/research you may have in a few lines please. NB. I'll read all the RNS's later.

Why can't they close the spread up a little bit........drop the ask to 11 please lol.....so my little top up can go through.. Conkersdeep....I am a few K down here myself over the years (I doubt there isn't anyone who isn't) but I am determined to make it back........and I think the company has always tried.......just been the victim of circumstance

@Dazbrad lol.......lol........and...............LOL I still have faith in tomco and I do believe the BOD are doing what they can in difficult circumstances. Tomco is having to evolve into a totally new company and if they can succeed with this oil shale technology - it could be a game changer and worth a lot to other companies. I also hope those who have been let down so far here will re-evaluate Tomco somewhere down the line and give them another shot......
