EDV walked away for one reason , they could look thru the window anymore so had to skulk away. I can go look at a mclaren , walk up and down the showroom in my best gear , take it for a test drive and ask for the finer details. But at some point I’m gonna have to sit down and talk turkey about the dosh . At that point it’s time to hot foot down to the ford garage and order a new fiesta !. EDV are now looking for a new fiesta with go faster stripes

Am I right it is next Tuesday the 14th when the snakes ?? have to show their hand ? I am assuming that there will be no further extensions granted by CEY ! . Time to tell them to do one ! See you in 6 months when the sp is much higher. No way can we lose this battle when we have seen off the dodgy fella who instigated the court case , survived the Muslim brotherhood and got through the second mining machinery. Now is our time to reap the reward of a rising gold price and a debt free , generous dividend paying company

1 . The incessant rns that are not remotely interesting
2. Gold flying and share price doing nothing which is illogical and must be a fiddle going on

Would Love ?? 2.10 but can’t see it. 1.75 would prob see me sell up after over 10 yrs . Don’t want to own shares on an international stock exchange. Don’t want the hassle or being subject to currency fluctuations

Recess, don’t disagree with you but the el raghy men will indignant that this outfit are gonna try and sneak the company from them. Like most men , I just can’t see them letting it happen . Unless the mr Sawiris is their pal I suspect they will fight even it more to prevent being done by a fellow Egyptian

I’m pretty confident the board don’t want this deal but they have to consider it if the largest shareholders require them to do so . The board have to think long term too and having ****ed long term share holders cos the board ignored them is not vsendiblr thing
I believe the best way to win for cey is to know the weaknesses of the opposition and stress that strongly in their rejection of any offer
The gold price is tipped to rise to 1600 in 2020 so no price below 1.75 should be put to the vote

I could say it could be higher but history says it doesn’t stay there and this court case is the. Biggest joke I have ever seen . A total farce and does not depict the Egyptian legal system in a good light irrespective of the next new mining law expected. You can have laws but if they are not enforced or ratified by the courts they are a waste of time

Tempted to buy more at this price , success will depend on meeting forecast and I am unsure on that . Plan is to sell my Lloyd’s and buy Cey .

Why don’t Cey make themselves less attractive by paying all the free cash flow out in a year end dividend of 20 p a share

The previous rns from CEY is an unequivocal no so the extension should be a non starter

Am I correct that Endeavour have until the 31 st dec to formally put a bid in ? Then the Cey can reject or put to shareholders ? . Why would any shareholder vote either way prior to the year end final production nrs and the dividend ? .
Do they put a poor bid in hoping nrs are less than min forecast and take advantage of that ? What is the theoretic plan of events ?

I have owned this share for ten years or more and rode a number of pits falls and false dawns but I’ve never seen a hint of a merger ! It was good to see the surprising share uplift this morning , much better than the stomach dropping of a share collapse due to gold production or machine failure . If the richest man in Egypt wasn’t involved I would prob dismiss this outfit cos they are not in a better position than CEY but mr sawris knows people who know people but In that part of the world who is being straight . The culture is different. V doubtful I would want to hold international shares as currency variances can get you as well . Would love 2 quid but I suspect 1.75 would sell it to black rock and the boys at van eck
