The pessimist in me assumes the worst with Ince as they have lost all credibility. Could the fact that they have secured a delay in the details for the offer for Arden, mean that they are waiting to get de-listed and perhaps as a private company execute a reverse takeover? I.e. Ince Shareholders are more or less shafted but the crooks continue to be listed as Arden who may I speculate become Ince & Arden or whatever. Any experts here to validate my speculation?

I spotted talk of shorters there are no significant short positions in ITV - so the rise is genuine and not coming out of any short squeeze. The question is will it be sustained and take us above 134p? If we breach that then you can rejoice. Until then caution as the possibility of a drift downwards is as usual more than likely

If wee see 134p breaking which seems to be resistance then 182 is possible. One can dream. I sold 30% of my holding at 120p could have got a better price true but I got bored and I still think the Dame is just past her sell by date. We need a strong CEO that can strike ruthless deals and drive shareholder value. Anyone can claim a share price re-rate after Covid. The dame is lame

Centrica SMA 50 bullish cross SMA 100 last week. Trend line trajectory upward and looking good to hit 68p where there is major resistance. When we cross that then no reason not to see 90p by Q2 next year and back to pre-COVID levels. That's my target. Only thing today pitiful volume but that is across the FTSE I Believe

I suspect it takes as long as it takes in order to sort out their shady dealings. No update whatsoever shows how they care about the shareholders.

Why would they backdate. It would create a logistical nightmare. I think it is also illegal to backdate dividends.

I suspect you are correct as the tabloids would immediately focus on that (the dividend no matter how small). Best to withhold dividend and announce it in Feb or after the preliminaries when we approach the end of winter
