Apologies for any ignorance on my part, but am I correct in understanding that any dividend would be counted as income for any non ISA’d shares? Therefore leaving me with a tax liability, without the ability to offset the loss on any non ISA shares? TIA.

Thanks Nero, it’s all of my own making at the end of the day, but a real kicker when you’ve invested over a decade and never sold any. Crazy as it sounds breakeven would feel like a victory, or like parole at the end of a long sentence when you weren’t even guilty in the first place, just extremely trusting and naive!

I’d love to be able to convince myself to average down ‘cegamer’, if it makes you feel better I bought all the way up to £2 and spent a lot to get my average down to the early £0.50’s. I’m currently as damn near it £100k down!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe so with benefit of hindsight ‘cegamer’, however I’m in here for way more than I should have been, so I’ll personally pass regardless. Good luck to all that do participate and especially to the LTH club members!

Well done to you broomtree, ironically my average SP at one time was £1.67p. At £0.50p I would still lose £0000’s not taking into the loss on the money ’interred’ here for over a decade. My loyalty, stupidity, naivety cost me a lot in stress and worry as well. Not blaming anyone, but believe me it sucks horribly!

£2 would be like winning the lottery, £0.80p I would take in an instant. I hope all the LTH’s at least get their money back as a minimum, as a loss after 10+ years would be like a real kick in the ‘short and curliest’. Good luck all!

I know and there’s the tragedy and bad luck for the LTH’s! A great price to average down or buy at no doubt. I’ve never blamed anyone but myself and averaged down from £1.60p to get to below 60p. I bought shares for my parents at £2, what a complete fool I’ve been! Hey ho, it is what it is!

£0.60p after 12 years would be pathetic, but I’d take it in a heartbeat to draw a line in the sand and try and forget about the whole thing.

Let’s hope so, lord knows that all the LTH’s are due a break here.
