Havnt really seen any rabbid matt fans for a while, yet constant drivel from the same people talking about everyone that doesn't hate him as cultist, fanboys, deluded and all that guff. June 2017, roughly 4.5-1, 2019 about the same / 4.5-4.7. a few months before Looney Got outed it was 4.5 at one stage. Could probably pick numbers to make either point. Fully agree with meoryou. Looney isn't to blame for all the difference, he probably/def has contributed but there are other reasons and seems a bit blinkered.

I am sure kelso are shrewd, but to think there aren't people just as good in the II or Matt has access to is a bit strange. I don't think they sold 8 - 5, they had previously sold down a while ago and I think that was when it was at 8 mil. Kelso are selling to make money, nothing to do with THG , if as someone else says they are bailing now after basically doing nothing as activist investors, then it just shows they are opportunistic and after fast money.

Kelso aren't magic, everything they have been saying has been said here before them, the II'sinvested have probably had discussions with Matt along the same lines way before Kelso. The only difference is that they are being loud, we have no idea if it is being ignored or not, it appears like it is, but how do we know? To me that is the problem, it may be just taking longer, not the right time, or waiting for something else. But the issue for me is that we just don't know, updates please and strategy .

They started with 5 mil shares, they are now back to 5 mil shares, the difference to 8 mil shares was probably CFD and is currently closed again. Imo they have their initial investment and played with the rest as can be seen via the previous sells anyway

I don't know how these things work, but if all divisions are split, and talk about PE coming in and grabbing things really cheap , from kelso letter, wouldn't that happen if they are split? As it would be easier and cheaper to get a low-ball offer on individual units? That's if things don't pan out and the true value isn't achieved for individual in these climates?

Maybe he doesn't even want the top job, has there been any confirmation he wants it?
