There really is nothing new to what was already known so PFC has not turned the corner yet. It is hard to understand how they can tackle these contracts without an RI or increasing debt and with increasing interest rates, the former looks more likely. The SP rise yesterday created expectations and alas we are back to same old, same old. Hold onto your hats and mind the Maverick gap 😆

A little underwhelming TBH- I expect SP to drop back a bit but you never know, GLA.

All looks good, hard not to totally out rule a rumour that might turn out a false one, with so many false dawns before, nonetheless tomorrow will be interesting 🧐 GLA, sleep well and put the bubbly on ice 😜

Despite the sells, rising just fine this morn.

Bought a tranche this morn. Now to bunker down, buy at theses levels or lower. A market over reaction as always. GLA.

@moonman and @speedway. Thanks for your posts. As I say I do think MCG will be a recovery play as long as the economy doesn’t tank completely- just a question of timing it. Re loss - I averaged down a bit and my overall loss on MCG was 14% - worst return for me on a share for a while. GLA.

@Sneedway, I am Spartacus. You can see from my previous posts that I am one of those you question. Luckily I got out at a small loss in MCG and I am not going to repeat my sentiments on a message board that has most contributors with a positive bias towards the SP who understandably ignore my opinion and continue to recite their opinions. I can only say that IMO while MCG. shareholders sit on their hands, I have made great profit on RR, IAG and heavily invested in PFC - watch that one next week! So it is the opportunity cost of waiting for the likes of National Express to arrive and it ain’t going to take me to the moon any time soon. The profit I would never have had as it were on the bus. But when I think MCG’ fortune might change, I might just be back on the bus. But Glood luck, GLA and DYOR but maybe outside of the bus for now. ✊

I lost a bit with MCG but not as much as I could have. Anyhow out now ( not bitter 😂). I still keep an eye on the SP. My take on this is the SP is where it is because of poor results ( losses and high debt) because of poor management on the background of a frail dodgy world but especially UK economy. Blaming the absence of a covid payment, come on! High inflation, increasing interest rates, the Brexit effect. The FTSE is suppressed for these reasons but especially so a service company in these circumstances. No bitterness, still hope the share recovers ( it likely will if the macro picture improves) though I see it going lower first. How low is anybody’s guess. GLA, DYOR.
