A14% rise and no RNS (yet) sounds a bit speculative but there must be a reason beyond pure PIs taking a punt. There must be developments..

Thanks @Smokeytime for this link. Doing a bit of review of my old shares - this was my biggest looser 2023 - 2024 and I took a loss of several thousand. Anyhow lucky I sold in the in 90s - so could have been worse. If ever there was a lesson in poor management “driving” off the road, this seems it. I thought this share was a safe steady one and it was just terrible. Maybe mount the bus again when there is new management? GLA

Hold some here but had off loaded more last year around SP 107 at the time if I remember correctly.

So balance sheet looks healthy -

Earnings increasing

Div yield 3% plus

Div cover over 1.5

But do you folk just trade it in the gold price - never seems to go past the 110 mark etc? And 1) are there further mining prospects and 2) How stable are things politically and governance wise?

I know you folk are quite knowledgeable from previous chats but am just looking at some of my portfolio and I haven’t been to attentive to this share. Any thoughts would be very appreciated and as always GLA.

Grayling, does the relatively low ratio of dividend cover < 1.5 give any cause for concern? Granted the dividend cover ratio has increased over the years but still is remains low. I had been invested here previously but now only have a small stake. Anything here to pull me in again?

Share price seems to have dropped back somewhat at 6PM yesterday as per SFOR’s website. Anyhow it is interesting to look at the P/E ratio of 9.4 here and compare it to 63 some 3 years ago - expectations were so high back then and no matter what the reasons - never materialised. Hopefully this time but likely take year or so but no guarantees at all, at all.
