I don't think it was RAB forward selling that meant we had such and issue around that time, IMO it was the utterly crap way the company/flowcomm managed the release of the updated JORC news, basically opening us up to traders that wanted to flip for a guaranteed quick 5% on the news, that was promised, delayed, promised, and then announced via a scheduled investor presentation before actually being released.

Maybe if they didn't issue an RNS stating that their "Side Hustle" project could be paid for by a 25% equity dilution, perhaps the SP would pick up a little.

An 81% drop, and i know I'm being pedantic, I know it's a different company now to what it was, I know the market opportunities are different, but the point being lots of things change in 5+ years, even in EQT, and with AIM its very rarely a smooth journey.

I know exactly what share i am in @Aandi, first purchase 05/06/2020, my point being is you are very much Rose Tinted glasses with regards to EQT, and fail to see their shortcomings (or at least fail to acknowledge them)

You have to be realistic in the market your investment is in, Amazon, Apple, Tesla aren't a realistic comparison.

Your comment regards long term SIPP investment may be valid, but realistically there are two type of holders of SIPPS, the younger investor that is actively moving their investments in order to maximise early growth return who wont be looking for a 5+ year hold, and the older investor close to retirement who wont be wanting the volatility of a "growth" AIM casino stock.

This ain’t Amazon, this is AIM, how many investors after having seen their investment drop by 75% in two years aren’t going to at least top slice a large proportion when it recovers.Most AIM investors live from one RNS to the next.

Look at the Amazon chart, since 2010 it’s been on an upward trajectory ever since, its a whole lot easier to hang onto an investment when it isn’t drifting down every month.

Without paying dividends it’s difficult for any growth stock to keep LTH for 5+ years when it shows volatility, especially when you can secure a 10% return on an s&p500 fund (historically)

Realistically there will be very few investors that are looking 5+ years let alone 8 or 12. EQT really need to deliver in the next 2-3 years or risk giving up a market leading position and becoming an also ran.

Its all well and good continuing to raise equity and increasing assets (Although there is some question as to how EQT have reported their financial position the year), but sooner of later without that being reflected in a share price movement existing investors will become disillusioned and new investors reluctant.

Also talking about revenue is all well and good but we have to start to look at becoming profitable sooner rather than later, revenue increases inevitably are accompanied by expenditure increases and its the margin between that is all important.

And the question being, based on the two shares tracking each other in so close a manner, how much of the companies performance has been because of DP or in-spite of him, Has EQT SP simply reacted to market pressures rather than to BoD activities, is the discussion?

I too have given no information regarding my investment, other than to say i am still confident in the medium term of making a considerable gain from here.

Basically insinuating that DP has been transformational for the company, I'm simply stating that the fact that our competitors PHE have nearly exactly mimicked the EQT share price performance, would suggest that DP has not been the transformational character you make him out to be, and in fact he has had little influence in EQT's performance in the last 3 years and instead they have simply risen and fell in line with the green market.

In deed DP was supposed to bring the financing know how to EQT, and it is exactly that side of the business that is currently holding us back.

Sounds to me like you may be in too deep, and can't see both sides, or don't want to perhaps.

The classic boiler room, 50p a post, wanting a lower purchase price, of course the motive of anyone that has an alternative opinion.

More than confident with my holding in the medium term but not so blind as to think DP is making the whole difference here.

Take a look at the EQT and PHE Shareprice graphs from Jan2020 , their shape mimics each other, So it would appear DP is along for the ride rather than steering the ship to prosperous seas !

And how much has been down to DP's stewardship, and how much has been to due to riding the general "green" market wave up, which we are currently riding down it would appear?

And DP is supposed to be the financing expert, anyone doing the slightest amount of due diligence wouldn't have touched Kibo with someone else's s hitty stick. Getting involved with them has been a mistake from day one, and throws into question the judgement of the EQT directors, getting in bed with Kibo in the first place.

Thats DP's theory, problem is we don't seem to be able to close out the first deal, as soon as we get close to financial close another fly jumps into the ointment and around we go again in the optimisation cycle. Who in their right mind is going to invest early if the track record of every project has been delay and rework over and over again.

We have seen PHE announce their MDC today and the market obviously didn't like it with a 10% hit to the SP, its basically an admission that they are struggling to commercialise at scale, needing to physically demonstrate the technology and we have two MDC's with a possible other on the way.

DP keeps stating he doesn't want EQT to be the owner/operator of these sites, but no one else wants to take them on at present, so perhaps his "IT Company Strategy" is not the correct one at this point in the technology lifetime?
