RE: RNS19 Jul 2022 11:33
Little disappointed that DP still hasn't deemed it necessary to front up to the market with an explanation of the need for the placing last week.
There are two things currently trashing the shareprice,
i) Amati offloading, which in their own words was a consequence of the SP impact from the UK project deferrals, something we can't do a lot about at the moment as they look to want out at any price, and the domino effect it would appear on some other largish holders.
ii) The uncertainty of the company's current financial position and how we are looking from a cash-flow perspective, This they can do something about if the company is upfront with the reasons behind the placing and how they are managing the finances prudently in a clear concise update (No DP/JVL bull**** around pipeline of pipelines)
But to just sit back and watch the share price continue to crash without the slightest attempt to intercede, doesn't promote confidence and instead shows the BoD to be arrogant and disconnected from the core shareholders.
Whilst they continue to use equity as a means of raising cash they have a responsibility to the shareholders to support the share price, at the moment they aren't doing that.
