The article is one-sided. Likely intentionally so, as a foil to the one-sided coverage from western media that it refers to. It is good to read both sides. Mali deserves to benefit from the mineral riches they sit on. Companies need to benefit from the expertise and capital they bring. What I don't understand is how you build in the risk calculation. I guess time will tell. Future projects will dry up if the potential rewards don't reflect the risks.
