The Big Burning question is......Does our technology have value? .....I think we will find out sooner than we think......

There will be many mining companies watching if not talking to GGP (not just Newcrest) and Newcrest are not stupid and will know this .....I do not believe that our SP will be allowed to go much above 15P if you intend to buy/take over a company the last thing you want is the SP rising (you will have to pay more) but I also do not think Gervais will sell cheap....things are about to get hot under the collar for some....

back to £2.50 we go......

If you get time take a look at the RNS from BP this morning.....I do think it is relevant, but 17.5B impairment charges in the second qtr .....times are certainly changing......

WOW....Impairment charges of 17.5B in the 2nd qtr....now that's big bucks....

This is one of those stocks that sit there quietly under the radar....and typically big news could hit at anytime massively adding value to the SP I've been on the side lines waiting but think I am going to make a buy very soon....

I certainly do not see 20p lloyds are basically loaning money that is government backed you cant get much more secure than that and although they have upped there reserves for bad debt with the government securities I doubt they will need it....I still see an upwards trajectory to maybe 40p-45p over the short term say 6 weeks...we shall see its a very volatile market your always going to get your down days.....GLA

Been in and out of IAG a number of times recently and been very fortunate....the last time I got out at £2.76 and thought I had really got out too soon especially when it got up to circa £3.60 plus I don't think anyone will do too bad long term at this level however I do see it going a lot lower short term at which point I will look to re-enter....GLA

It always intrigues me the way we follow the US futures at the moment they have an implied opening of over 500 on the dow that could go up or down but I think US job numbers will be the key today and they could send the market either way....

Totally agree I would much rather see small incremental rise than huge rises only to have huge drops....this has much further to go just give it time....I believe there is only one downside to GGP and that is if Gold crashes and in this climate that is not likely to happen ...sit tight

Gerry I for the most part agree with you and really apply that to any connected Airline stock really however some times stocks as you know fall into bargain basement and I feel STOB is such a stock...that doesn't mean to say it can't fall further, for clarity I have taken up my option and more if I can get them in the 40p placing....I just feel that Southend Airport is the key and holds too much value for the stock to be at these levels JMO....

I agree that Lloyds SP will rise over the next few weeks but 80-100 ? really what you had for breakfast....Budwieser??? "that's not a product placement" other beers available.... ill never see 80-100 in my lifetime unless they do a 50% share buyback "doubtful"

We were never going to head straight for £2.50 - £2.70 as I said we will see some volatility but the overall trajectory I feel is still North...GLA

I feel it will be some time before Lloyds ever hits 60p again.....however like I have been banging on about there is definitely a rotation into value stocks of which Lloyds is certainly one, the trajectory in the SP is North but that will also come with a degree of volatility I envisage 40p-44p short term.

This is now starting to move up as I thought it might, however "rising tides float all boats" as they say, I was a little surprised at the pull back from circa £2.22 yesterday afternoon but we have to expect some volatility in these markets....I still feel the trajectory is North and that we still have some way to go....still a strong buy for me and can quite easily see £2.50 - £2.70 in the coming weeks with a bit of turbulence on the way there.....GLA

I for one am expecting an up tick very shortly.....not because of our fundamentals or even the fact we are grossly under valued, purely because of rotation, quite a few stocks are now fully valued ie Tech and Healthcare and some, like Airlines and Travel have just gone up way too fast and too high, so now punters are looking at value stocks and we certainly fit that category...
