With the speed indicated, they are installing in dense urban areas, exactly where the volume is. Very much how they got to cover France in a short space of time.

I wouldn't go down that road LTI. Meters have ALWAYS worked, for so many years. The only aspect that makes them smart is the Comms. What you are effectively saying is the TNEB contract, and all others that have stalled, was 'lodged' because the Comms offer didn't work? Read up on JC's comments after that episode, and others.
