Thanks for the measured response. You can see then, that orders for 20 or 30,000 connections need to go to 1 or 2 million to start to make this viable. I will believe far more when the first million unit order comes in, it needs to be soon, and followed up fast. At todays run rate, break even will be a very long way off.

The forecast he put up worked with a 10 year view on 10 million deployed units. How many units do we currently have out there?

You appear a little agitated dwall. Why don't you just confirm what CC have said to you? Why haven't CC had an order in what is already huge rollout numbers?
Calm down a little, and put some facts up, like I have.

Remember this is India. They started rolling out these meters early 2018, and are still going at pace as far as I know. There was a question about conforming to standards on here, EESL were perfectly happy with the hardware and would look to retro certificate if needed. If they are working as required, that isn't gonna happen any day soon, as JC has said many times, it only puts the costs up. It is a lovely notion to believe they will come running to CC, they haven't yet, and so long as the meters work, why would they need to.

I am sure that most of us grasp this information and understand the position with EESL thus far. The problem is, they are central to the massive scale deployment that CC need, and as we have all seen, the current rollout does not require Smart in the full sense. They want paid for, which is what pre payment will give. If this method plugs the majority $30 odd billion hole, it changes daily, I'd say EESL will have done a superb job for very little outlay.

Talk to JC again, get him to reiterate the CC business plan, that is the trading view that the company will stand or fall by. Contracts won so far do not scratch the surface, too small and too infrequent. If that ever changes, I will, but right now nothing has changed.

Guess away tonyj, not a clue. I left this board, I know it's hard to grasp, but that doesn't mean you have to sell lol. To confirm the situation in India, the huge contract rollout that is taking place through EESL does not require any CC offering. Again, hard to grasp, but currently that is the case. Small bespoke contracts have been won by CC, but the large volume that CC business plan is based on, is not happening yet. I cannot make it any clearer.
