Classic response tonyj, clueless to the end. Well done, you actually asked a question at CC! If you are still beyond accepting fact, even purchase orders, placed and work started, have fallen away. Wake up, this is not a PO, it isn't nailed on to be either. I don't need to ask questions, I work from experience, which is something you clearly lack and prove on a daily basis. Also, like LTI , you have your facts all wrong. He couldn't find evidence I'd ever discounted CC with EESL, and if he can't , you don't have a prayer LOL.

CC withhold as much information as they can usually, the fact they even highlight RFP should tell you this isn't a done deal by any means.

An RFP typically involves more than a request for the price. Other requested information may include basic corporate information and history, financial information (can the company deliver without risk of bankruptcy).

This could well be the reason the 'order' was positioned under an LOI. Funding will be needed and CC have to sort it fast. There will be strings attached no matter what JC says.

LOIs often include provisions stating that a deal may only go through if financing has been secured by one or both parties, or that a deal may be squashed if papers are not signed by a certain date.
So, any guesses how much CC will need to fund this £3.3 million contract? Any guesses how much is in the bank? Do we get to know the number now YE has been moved out?

You are clearly taking alot of time on this, which is interesting. Now, the point you made was that I absolutely stated that EESL will NEVER deal with CC. Keep looking.....

Thanks LTI, that confirms perfectly what I have been saying. An alliance with EESL could never be ruled out, not if CC are the players they think they are. It's a shame JC could only release this so late in the SP plunge, it would have stopped the slide a long time ago. It could be EESL are only now happy to let them announce things, who knows. As for funding, which will be needed soon, the LOI with no strings should act as a guarantee with any lender. Let's see how they play that.

Just to put you right, I have never once said CC will not be involved with EESL. I simply pointed out the volume contracts they have issued so far have not been in CC's remit. If you can find I have ever discounted CC from working with EESL, I would be interested in seeing it. Remember, JC's own break even business plan is 10 million connections, if they don't work with EESL they might aswell close the doors now.
Anil is as deluded as most to be honest. Lets say 250 million over 5 years, as he thinks is achievable. That's 50 million pa, 960,000 per week, 137,000 per day - for a 7 day week! Not a hope in hell, Anil must be using tonyj's calculator.

Probably the best update CC have ever given. This is still India though, they have been saying this for at least 5 years and, it appears, only last month they stopped utilities installing static meters! The cash burn and lack of revenue will force the next stage, one we all know so well, but India could be inching forward. As ever with India, they are never going to get near the 3 year target, JC knows that. If they were mildly realistic and said 15 years for 250 million, it would still be a stretch, but they can't help themselves unfortunately. If they mean 3 years, contracts need to start this afternoon.

I agree with most of that post, it must be Christmas! The obvious elephant in the room is moving YE out. They need to post some seriously good figures, unfortunately we won't find out what they look like for another 6 months.

Well, if they do manage to land 15 million pounds worth, and one at least doesn't have a decent upfront payment, we will know the answer.

If you are asking JC, you could also ask how it could have added £6 million to the YE figure so as not to miss the target.

if this is the first of 3 orders, totaling around £15 million in value, and revenue from this one won't start from 15 months after the order is placed, how on earth would it have impacted the YE revenue if it had landed by October? There won't be large upfront payments, just because CC are skint, so they would have missed the YE figure by a country mile anyway? Possibly why JC used end of October knowing there will be no chance of winning these 3 in 2019, giving the needed excuse for the pitiful income level. Proving once again, it's not our fault!!

Even JC can't be quoting the Genus overall value. It must be CC's contract only value..... although, worse has happened.
