The news that break even can be achieved through just 500,000 connections in year 1, reducing in following years, is probably bigger news than any 200,000 contract win. That information was never going to compromise CC's position with customers or competitors, it was simply never officially relayed to shareholders, and still hasn't been. If it is accurate, it lifts CC from a 10 million connection that in my view was always going to be a stretch - indeed the document itself was quoting 10 years! I didn't make it up, it does exist somewhere, and if CC have managed to change the business model to that extent, and it is a massive extent, shareholders should have been notified. It would have shut me up months ago . I still hold view that CC will not be volume suppliers, now it appears they don't have to be. Within 2 weeks we should learn so much more.

Good morning, and thanks for the post. Reading the surrounding posts my reaction to Pedro was obviously over the edge and I will apologise here and now. The word omitted was 'Boolarks' but I take your point. The posts on and around are high in congratulating CC for landing a 3000 meter pilot. The detail in the RNS is typical in depth of information, that gets me going every time. JC has openly stated that he wants to relay far more information over last year and going forward, that will help no end. The issue I have already is had I not kept banging on about the 10 million connections , that was very clearly the business plan, JC has had at least 15 opportunities to advise the change to us. So in that context, knowing the fact 10 million is the target, the pilot going 3000/ 140,000 to 200,000 doesn't touch the sides. Now of course we are told this massive shift in numbers is in play and the whole thing looks viable from just one email.
To conclude, my comments are born from frustration on certain news releases that are blown out of all proportion for whatever reasons. I will however keep that away from the BB from now, but do remember we would still have no idea what break even looked like had I not kept that ball rolling. Enjoy your Sunday.
