HB is an old friend of JC, he was employed to ensure the existing contracts were fulfilled and build some solid shareholder value. He did neither. Given India is almost sole focus, I think Anil has now been charged with the task. HB is still available, in consultant capacity, I won't say anymore.
You are correct, there appears no challenge to JC whatsoever. Assuming the latest contract holds, this will have been CC's best week in many years. That's not an endorsement by the way, they are always well capable of tossing a Grenade at most aspects of the business.

Hello Itt. I think the fact this recent order came so soon after the YE report is proof enough that it is not the same as in the advanced stage contract being negotiated. They had until month end to file the RNS, which suggests they are confident if this does land it will be after month end. This could also be safe reason for Directors to be investing now, I imagine this was a process planned to happen regardless of the recent 350k win.

Good to see an RNS with concise, accurate detail. Shame they can't achieve same when it comes to dealings that concern all shareholders.

Bank shares are likely more suited to your protected safety net. Most others are engaged in the investment knowing
all JC needs to do is follow what he says he will, and impart information on a regular basis. The SP reaction today is solely down to the company not following their own protocols, and with their track record it is understandable.

It wouldn't have taken much to confirm if this is the case. Also, if the order value is around £7 Million, as loosely implied, it represents CC entire market cap before contract award. The meager % uplift is again testament to market, and investor, faith in CC's historical inability to deliver confirmed contract wins. That needs to change and informative, progress updates need to flow to prove a contract is on track and performing to plan. I took it as that was the 'information flow' phase JC assured the market CC had entered a couple of years ago. Time to use it JC, get some credibility back and build your threatened shareholder value.

Don't worry tonlie, if this one doesn't land, or does and is not a decent volume, I will let you know. They had until the 30th September to release YE. JC clearly thinks there is no chance of this coming in before that, or he would have held back the RNS. If this one does come in, at least will will find out what CC's interpretation of 'large volume' means. I for one will be most surprised if it calls for Millions of units.

Be nice to win the new, new one, as the other 3 new ones have dissolved into nothing again. The other 3 have probably been awarded, but decided against RF, as with most of the volume applications.
