Thanks for your thoughts on that, I will have to set aside some time for learning. The last bit was exactly what I said earlier, we have to own our mistakes.

I don't understand charts, I look occasionally but I think that is a long term project.

I don't know anyone on here but I am a bit bothered that one or two have reason not to laugh, I hope they get out alive.

I started off sitting in the library reading stuff like that but the trouble is they are like listening to the experts. I have one of those apps where you can read lots of mags online so naturally I read the money/shares mags but I always have a large pinch of salt at hand.

Everyone here knows the biggest lesson I've learnt. Lol

It's not just you, me as well, and I have seen other boards people say that when they buy in it drops and when they sell it rises.

You also have to remember that people don't always like to say when they lose, we only know that most on here are losing because it has pretty much dropped constantly, but some through luck or skill have made a lot here, just not me.

Msuk - you like most on these boards have clearly been playing the game for a while, I struggle to keep up with all the terms used on these boards, and some people have a great depth of knowledge on particular investments, I think I spend too much time falling around.

I don't expect to ever show a meaningful profit, I think there are times to trade and times to invest and I don't draw the line, also as I only started for fun early this year I don't take huge risks, my target was not to lose too much by the end of year one and I think I might manage that with a bit of luck. But who knows, if I train myself to be a bit more disciplined I might get better.

I'm waiting for GGP and SVNS to pick up, most of my list is like a shed full of broken lawn mowers.

We messed that up, two topics on the same thread. I have a couple of Cykel, I think OSD said he jumped ship over there. Probably my lack of knowledge again, but they are actually doing something, people here keep talking about Evoo but what else is going on?

Going to other end of the scale. Have you ever had a roast dinner brought to your table and the waitress say "those are your stuffing balls and those are your roast potatoes" ? I looked across the table wondering how she was going to reply, she didn't swear but it did go back. Honestly, they were so burnt you couldn't tell the difference.

I am happy to be corrected but it appears to me that A.I. gathers info that humans feed it, on that basis I am happy to accept it can analyse data faster than a human, but I don't accept that it is always reliable in it's answers to a question.

Simple food cooked well is always better than fancy food cooked badly.

I think it obviously has it's uses but too many people hear those 2 letters and think it's the answer to everything. My platform offered to analyse my portfolio the other day, I hit the button and it told me the names of where my biggest interests were and what sector they are in. How did I ever live without it? F**king useless.
