It's a grim day today, most markets down, gold and silver taking a battering again, SCGL up. Who needs gold anyway ?

Maybe it isn't a lot but it would keep you in sweets for a while, and when you come back to this rain ridden place you could afford a Greggs sausage roll every day with an M&S scone for desert.

Glad we got to the coast yesterday for a walk along the front on a rare dry day, this rain could drive you mad.

Those sweets will do you no good at all, you should dispose of them immediately, if you can't bring yourself to do it then you can send them to me and I will be more than happy to help. It's not going so well here, I stumbled upon a couple jam and fresh cream scones on a visit to M&S yesterday and I have to say they were the best I have ever tasted.

Unstoppable? There confidence if ever I saw it. I'm not in that league and never will be. Happily took 100% on a few RR, enjoying the ride at SML 200%+ , GGP and living in hope of news at SVNS, but only small Investments, fun though.

Redhammy - thank you for the kind words but I call it luck, when I've doubled my money maybe then I will think of myself as having learnt something. One again sorry for being so annoying. Good luck.

Redhammy - I should also add that I don't think it is fair to say that the more regular posters see others as disruptive as I am a regular poster and I am quite obviously seen by many as also being disruptive. My aim is not to annoy people but to take part in the humour and the serious debate so that I may learn. The spread has narrowed and widened many times over the last year and it has meant naff all in real terms. Another fact is that the SP is currently around .38 as opposed to.44 yesterday, which is roughly where it has been for best part of a year regardless of whatever words of optimism have been posted here.

Last month by people who turned up for a quick buck and whether the spread is tight or not has made no material difference in the last year so that is unlikely to change until some meaningful results or news is announced.

Redhammy - I totally understand and agree with a lot of what you say, also given my lack of knowledge and the fact I frequently partake in off topic discussion I have no desire or right to stifle opinions of others.

With regard to the Pirate saga, it was as you rightly say a way to break the monotony, but most importantly it was never meant to be taken seriously. If my comments are seen as out of order then maybe I could have worded them differently, however the posts that I have taken issue with are exactly the same kind of talk that pushed this up to around.9

BD6Vant - I have 2 facts, the first is that everyone who has popped up on here saying 'the spread is tightening ', 'it's NT to buy' , ' big order being filled ' or anything similar has seen no significant rise in the SP after their posts, so they have crept quietly away until it is time to pump again. Secondly, despite your words of encouragement this still remains stubbornly stuck 5% down today. Those are what I call useful facts.

Still waiting for a meaningful answer. That looks like many copy and pastes that have been posted over the last few months, none of which have been beneficial to anyone other than day tripper.

I ask because most can see what has happened, what sorts people like me with little knowledge from those that are clever is that the clever ones make the right call, so far those updates on the market movement have been followed by silence and no noticeable change in the situation.

Callit - I might have have a beer later if nothing changes, I'm out of the red for the second day running. I set out a year ago to see if an idiot with no knowledge could break or make a small profit and I only missed my target by a few days. I'll probably be bankrupt in another 12 months but I'll try to look on the bright side.

Callit - keep some back for a G&T.

OSD - I wonder if I keep asking that question whether I will get an honest answer one day.
