Me thinks the reverend doth give me too much credit for my patience, that or he's taking the ****. Top billing for that category must surely go to the good Captain who has done his best to keep us all sane through this madness, his ability to stay calm cannot be eclipsed by anyone.

I only stay because I like the company.

It's a pre requisite on here with people keep posting old RNSs in the hope that they will come true, saying news will bring a rise soon and this will open at 1p and I think the seller is out now, or one of the many other phrases from the desperate investors handbook. All phrases you don't see on a board where things are going well.

Thank you for pointing that out, further confirms my point, the post also said 'News incoming'. I have no issue with all the people who know more than me but I have been listening to sh*t like that for almost a year, news of any value has not come in, and yet I'm expected to believe it now despite the fact that it has been said many times before and been wrong. I may not know very much but I can defend my posts with hard facts, it's called the truth. If we can't live in the real world we would be better discussing sausage rolls, boats and wine all day.

Bobat123 - If people are chasing rainbows then it is best for them to sell out. I know as much about the weather as I do here, but one thing that even a greenhorn knows is that it takes sun and rain to make a rainbow, whilst I haven't seen any rain there is definitely no sun and none has been forecast in the near future.

OSD - The first line of your post is exactly how i feel. I most definitely do not come on here to teach granny how to suck eggs. The captain kept us all afloat through earlier difficult times when others gloated at what we had got into, but back then more people believed, now there has been a mood swing, more people are feeling uneasy here. I was probably one of the first to get restless here, which I know doesn't sit well with some, but I want this to work, nobody talked this into remaining at such such a low level, least of all me, and certainly not the B.O.D. who say nothing at all. I hate it when the usual suspects turn up to gloat, but they wouldn't be here to gloat if there was anything meaningful happening here, they are looking to make money too, even when the day-trippers came they couldn't get this up to 1p, which shows, up, down or sideways, we can't wish this to a place that suits us, the B.O.D. have to make that happen.

Rather than be viewed as a flee on a dogs back the point I am trying hard to get across is that in a year, as well as a couple like this I have with no knowledge at all managed to achieve some high % returns in some areas, if I can do it then the more experienced on here must be doing better, so they know when they have trodden in something smelly and shouldn't say 'there's nothing on my shoe.'

Colenal - hoping for a lift in the S.P. whilst expecting a raise or news of how much the new directors are going to cost.

To what extent ? A slightly higher extent than we should consider it to have gone well.

If you lent someone £10 a year ago on the promise it would be repaid the next day and they disappeared until last week asking for another £10 loan promising to repay it the next day you wouldn't believe them.

I am happy to believe that we might get get lucky here if and when the day-trippers return and pump it a bit higher than their last effort, but to get excited about that R.N.S. that talked much and said little is not for me, and I know I am not alone in thinking that way.

I am fully aware that we are gambling and like everyone else I don't care what takes the S.P. up but this horse is the rank outsider in the race and all the ifs, mights or coulds will not change that no matter how much we try to talk it up.

Again recently the talk has turned to sellers being finished, and MMs playing games to let their friends in. If we go back 6 months the S.P. was at a similar level and the posts were exactly the same 'MMs playing games', 'they will have to let this go soon', 'letting their friends in cheap' , none of those posters have been right yet but if this goes near .5 they will all scream 'this it, 1p before close.'

We may get rich here but don't hold your breath. All I am saying is live in the real world.

Surfie1961 - I'm not sure that counts as valuable investing advice, I don't share his optimism but his contributions are a cut above that.

Captain - Also worth remembering that we have been clinging on to the hope of the launch of the Evoo platform that was supposed to happen last summer, not only has it not happened, it still has a website stating September 2025 launch. That by any standards is to say the least, extremely unprofessional, for the B.O.D. to now make announcements about directors being appointed without even the slightest mention of their failure to deliver the one thing that shareholders were pinning their hopes on frankly is unbelievable.

Your knowledge of investing and A.I. is clearly far greater than mine so I will accept your timescales as being realistic, so one thing I don't understand is given that A.I. is all about speeding things up, then why didn't the B.O.D. know it would take that long ? They are supposed to be experts, so either they didn't know and should have updated shareholders, or they did know and the latest froth and bubble is designed to leave us exactly where we are for another 12 months. Again I appreciate that my thoughts will offend some but they are the real hard facts, not what we wish would happen.

Perhaps I am assuming too much but I'm thinking that a certain person will pop up in a minute and say 'the price is the story'.

Msuk - All info is welcome, I'll have to digest that when I'm at home. I'm not sure about the discipline bit, that might be even harder to learn, I have a couple of miners that I think have more legs in them, hope I'm right.

OSD - I hate putting stuff like that up, I know it upsets people, especially coming from someone who is unlikely to be outshone in the lack of knowledge department. I think that my first post on here was very similar, I don't know what is was but I quickly saw something here that others didn't at the time but it's easy to be wise after the event, I'd already thrown a few quid in.

I always like to be honest even if I'm wrong so when people are reading the ramblings of an idiot and wonder why I don't post on other boards it is because not only am I very small player, I don't have enough years left to learn about mining or any other stuff I play with, and as I said a year ago, I don't think anyone knows what these guys are up to so I don't feel alone.
