Sorry Rick, got you mixed up with another Rick ramping this on Twitter in that case! Brazil looks to have disappeared with the shower of sh*te that is the Minty family. The last RNS will bring you up to speed; we're basically a cash shell but ultimately one that seems to have better prospects than as a marginal field development company run by crooks. Let's see what the latest development brings but credit to GS for keeping us alive, along with a very small glimmer of hope for long suffering holders....
Rick, your perspective on here is a bit out of kilter with your posting on Twitter? Following your logic on Twitter, presumably because it's a '10 bagger'??
Good post Jarem. Cwebb, you are....illiterate?
Glad you're still around Roger....seems like most of the old posters have been replaced by newbies and nutters.....wonder how many managed to find an exit point, or maybe just retreated into the shadows a like myself after all the lies and deceit from Oldco Nuog. Still can't believe how Minty managed to pull this off legally and still retain a finger in both pies in case of success in either; a true scumbag!
Barry, you came on here at regular intervals last year emphatically declaring a link up between here and there and 'it will come, mark my words.' Nobody was particularly interested in your tenuous links then and I suspect even less interested in your sudden outbursts now on a share you have proven you have next to no knowledge of, even less so now that the company you're bashing doesn't exist.
Not sure what your agenda is as you seem even more random than ever but perhaps cool off a bit then go back to posting where you're invested...see you again next year maybe??
There really is some twaddle spoken on here these days.....the constant need to put a negative slant, regardless of how ridiculous it may be, is almost as bad as the rampy rampy insider days!
If you're going to de-ramp then kindly stop being so lazy and read up on the new bod...****ging off the old lot is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. There's no way Minty should be allowed to get away with what he has but it's pointless talking about the new lot as if they are cut from the same cloth - I doubt anyone is as incapable of closing a deal as Minty the old lot were....
Thanks for clarifying, SBP.
Could somebody clarify whether the '0.0999' figure that's been quoted is being as stated due to the price at the time of the circular, and may therefore change before GM, or is it now fixed? If fixed then what happens if the share price rises or drops significantly before GM? I'm assuming the logical thing would be to amend the quoted figure based on price at time of GM but they don't appear to have made that clear.....?
Sharetag, although I don't think anybody would argue with that summary of Nuog under Minty, if we do continue as a company then comparing it with the Nuog of yore will be like comparing apples and pears. If the votes are passed and Nuog continues to exist, it will be under completely new management and with a completely new direction. That isn't to say the future's necessarily bright but I think TBH is right that there could be a chance in the short term for existing holders to salvage some of their losses...for once we'll also know more sooner rather than later as they have no choice but to show their hand to some extent before the GM in order to get the votes through.
Agree with both of those posts TBH and SBP....as you were :)
Are we seriously debating the finer points of US sanctions in Cuba?? This is almost as much fun as the 'which field' speculation re: Brazil. I wonder if James is laughing as hard as Minty was....fingers crossed he isn't!
Starbuck, your trading position seems oddly in line with TCM on advfn ;) Glad you're kenvinced finally and atb :)
Nope, was just making an observation. Atb
On a lighter note, that was my 911th post and look at your handle....spooky!!
Starbuck, I think the biggest benefit would be if you could let Nuog go buddy....I get the bitterness, I genuinely do but misleading others is just parroting what you hate about Minty. Maybe time to move on?
Agreed!
Post recommended Jarv55. It seems some just want to see Nuog disappear from the annals of history. It's far from plain sailing but things are looking a hell of a lot brighter than this time last week for LTHs, yet the same old faces continue to impart their 'wisdom' that everyone is doomed, based on very little information currently available.
The fact remains that a cash shell is more appealing to some than listing from scratch. That in itself is a reason, notwithstanding the ridiculous amount of speculation on offsetting tax via an entity we have no understanding of yet....
I also understand that they have taken on the debt regardless, so they are shouldering risk in that sense, even though some will speculate as to how much it actually cost them.
No probs
What are you on about Starbuck?
