Thanks Wob, probably a good shout. No idea why I didn't question it before but, as I said, was more focused on the decimated share price!
Trying to keep the faith too QT but still struggling to get my head around this one. If it wasn't for the collaboration agreement then I'd say it seems like more carrot dangling but there must be something in it for them to commit to 2 years as a secondary party....surely it's more than Siemens letting someone else assume the initial risk/ They don't strike me as needing to be that cautious when it comes to innovative ideas like G2W. Would love to know the answer and am amazed none of the better-researched holders haven't mooted it already.....
Ha SBP although I'm pretty sure Siemens know what an RNS is! They have also gone on record to say they are excited about the deal.....my question remains a genuine one and that is, what have we got that can't be replicated and brought to market at a much faster rate by a company with deeper pockets, like Siemens?? It was easy to see the USP with the marginal field strategy as we had some unique technology (debatable) but I can't see or read anywhere what's unique about our G2W offering?
Just catching up on the posts and unless I'm blind there's still no clear answer as to what USP MFDev have that makes them an attractive collaboration prospect? I appreciate I'm a little slow on the take-up here but the last month or two have been taken up with slightly more pressing Nuog matters regarding dinero!
Surprised it hasn't been discussed here in more detail previously but what exactly do we have that makes a company the size of Siemens choose to collaborate? Surely if it's just the fact we're one of the first off the blocks then Siemens would just throw a load of money at it and overtake us? Can anybody clarify what our USP here is please? Genuine question and I'll be as excited as any other holder if and when I understand what we've actually got!!
Bit defensive there Sharelock! I was asking a genuine question that I don't know the answer to and your response suggests you don't either.....just wondered if we have specific innovation that sets us apart, as we seemed to with marginal field plays, or is it simply that we have moved first? Genuine question and I daresay relevant!
Does anybody know exactly how we are ahead of the curve/at the forefront re: GTW? There has been a lot of talk of it from the company and holders but I'm afraid I don't actually know what we have that puts us at the forefront? Thanks
I'm pleasantly surprised too although it is bizarre still how AIM enables this sort of money to just be raised almost on a wing and a prayer....can you imagine going on Dragon's Den and saying "I'd like £130k please and it 'will be primarily applied to the Company's general working capital requirements'". You'd be laughed out of there and in all fairness shareholders didn't have an awful lot more information available than that in order to make the decision.
Not complaining as the extra cash can't be a bad thing in terms of supporting company prospects, however, the sums of money that get raised on AIM are quite staggering when supported by very little supporting evidence indeed.....
Ha you may be right SBP but hopefully not!
Disagree QT....I'm still not happy with progress but I think they are damned if they do and damned if they don't with some people. It was a pretty solid interview based on what can currently be shared and whilst I would much rather an interview post-deal, it's a lot better than silence at this stage imo.
Just had a watch and think Simon came across very well; nothing concrete still but at least doesn't look like the lights are about to go out (famous last words) and the shadows in the office behind suggested other employees might at least be present!! As for those on other sites commenting on appearance and whether or not he has hair, we clearly have the full spectrum of evolution invested here and something tells me people sitting on their backsides all day posting on these boards are most likely in no fit state to comment on the appearance of others!
Agreed not_sure, I think the Twitter names from Friday should be noted down and added to the dossier! How do these people get recruited or was it just a group led by the likes of Kev who coordinated their own ramping opportunity on the final day (for most) of OO?
Unusual to gloat when your investment went up 15% then dropped 16%, NowtNu? Would you count yourself among the f*ckwits funding this or are you just another weirdo who lives vicariously through the investments of others?
Haha fair comment Roy. Whilst I agree that we certainly don't need another false dawn, we have also seen this share rocket before and goodness knows we need a bit of that right now to end the current squeaky bum phase.
As always, us lowly PIs who aren't 'connected' will be the last to know what's actually going on but there is always the chance it could be real this time.....I'm not naive enough to comment wither way but I'm still invested so remain in hope....
Where have all these newbies on Twitter popped up from? Rainbow chasers/pumpers or is something actually afoot this time? Fingers crossed.....
Thanks mcadder and yes, I did ask in a slightly different way and you were decent enough to explain, however, your pseudo was niggling a bit and I remembered some more of your less constructive posts from the past. Oh well, not much I can do about it and at least someone is showing significant positive interest here, for the time being at least. Atb
mcadder, something is niggling a bit about your sudden rush onto the Nuog scene. It is ultimately none of my business of course, however, as someone who is also heavily invested here it is concerning to see a single PI carving out such a wedge. LT rightly or wrongly has a deep-seated belief in this company, however, I remember attempting to shoot you down on a number of occasions back in my self-righteous troll hunting days. As I saw it then, I was protecting my investment, which ironically I am doing now, albeit with a rather less aggressive tone and ironically because you've bought in and are positing positively rather than because you're out and posting negatively.
I'll get to the point, and that point is, I'm concerned that an individual who holds this much of the company had no moral qualms about slagging it off publicly, presumably with a personal agenda and presumably when that individual wasn't invested.....do you see where I'm coming from here?
Thanks for the reply mcadder.
mcadder, I recall you being pretty negative about this share in the past....just wondered why the sudden large investment and positivity? Thanks
Wombat lol...we haven't had that one for a while. I daresay Wombat Recruitment would have been a more catchy name for your firm....I'm imaging a 'Go Compare' style ad as we speak.
Fair enough Wob and I also apologise to you and Jarem for taking a dig at recruitment. It was to prove a point but was a cheap shot and it is of course a vital part of the economy. I agree that things have turned a little too dark on these boards now and I too may have overstepped the mark in my uniquely self righteous way. Cooling off definitely needed and in the meantime let's hope the cause of this whole sh*t storm actually sends something positive our way.....
