Gerry, What's your best guess on some tapering before end December

I have been in 3 different OEIC's in the recent past. Ceres,Thames river etc. I sold out of all of them, which were highly recommended by my broker, at a net loss. I will not go there again mainly because of my track record. There are of course some good ones about but the task is picking them.I, because of my past experience would be too afraid to give an opinion on Newton lol Kiss of death. IMHO you might be better off topping up on STAN. Continue to post on MYI please. ATB

You have been consistent on the SP issue. I am hoping that this will move up to the 400 . Their last set of results were ok and trust that by next March things will be looking a little bit rosier. Who knows it could go below 330 but I don't think so. My view is no doubt suspect having an average holding at 355. Whatever best of luck going forward here.

have a very large holding here. Bought for income but looks now I will face a semi permanent 10% loss having bought earlier this year. Perhaps you are right and for now due to mainly incorrect asset allocation Mr.Stout needs a new and profitable strategy. Will have to watch closely. Well done on your entry level.

the latest broker reiterations prove accurate. Could have saved a lot of cash if I had exercised a little more patience in the recent past. That's life and GLA here.

Yes good results and also making some effort to help the consumer which I hope will augur well for their business in 2014. Could do with increase in the SP. For income seekers a very good share at a good entry point.

Lets hope the IMS is positive. Unlike you my average is mid 700s so I think I need the rumour mill re takeover to start again in 2014. GLA

It looks like you were right and you will be able to top up. I will have to grin and bear it for the time being.

Let us hope that it is only a combination of bad management combined with a possible under pricing of their various policies and a grossly deficient claims provision. If so all will be well in due course. Having to go back two years and check the business written indicates a real loss of control whether through as you put it overenthusiasm or something more sinister we can only conjecture at this point. I bought into this share after the sharp drop in the SP following the cut in the dividend. Now this latest announcement. I hope for existing shareholders it is not a case of bad news comes in 3's. this morning.We have a chequered history of insurance scandals in Ireland and I am fearful of what the PWC investigation may unearth. Just over 1K loss but I hasten to add that I wish all holders well for the future.

I thought the recent IMS was pretty good. SP drop overdone IMO.Agree with Hicks comments. Should be good for 125P plus by end 2013. Divi looks safe for now.

I think Tune's comments are sound. I am hoping for high 300's by years end.
