Its been a while for me.
For the record just bought another 140k at 20p
This is now all about belief and trust in the fundamentals. Rest is all noise. Do remember we are on Aim and that does come with a degree of risk and also decent reward.
GGP in my opinion is still the best for balancing this risk / reward.
Each to their own. I have no interest in what anybody else does here. Its entirely up to you.
All I will say is that a lot has been said on here in my 6 years....most of it I'm afraid is ignorable. However in between the noise there are true gems.
Good Luck All

I haven't been on here much recently. Not worthwhile. Not necessary. It seems the tone here has been conflicting...to say the least.
For the record I am a LTH ( 6 years). And no I haven't sold any. Infact since Jan this year I have added nearly 2m at an average of 22p. This has obviously multiplied my previous average. But thats not a problem whatsoever. I will continue to add to a what is a pretty large holding. Because it makes economic sense...esp for those who really understand the fundamentals of GGP. It is an investment opportunity in an AIM stock that has minimum risks and super potential rewards.
Instead of coming on here everyday adding very little value. It would be prudent to do more research into GGP, gold, PMs in general, junior miners and maybe some geology. There is plenty of info out there. This would then enhance your own mindset in your investment and you wouldn't need to relate to the noise on here. Personally I just read posts from a select few here say once maybe twice a week. And we all know who they are.
Armed with knowledge you only need belief and patience...and obviously there are always some rIsks involved. I thought that was the essence of an investor. There are many more experienced investors on here than myself. I'm a relative novice in comparison.
I wish all Greatlanders the very best for 2021. Have faith in the fundamentals have belief and be patient.
Good Luck All

Integrity...that is what really defines us.
Paddy has continuously demonstrated his in abundance.
Recently this bb has deteriorated to an extreme low that I haven't seen for years. That's why I don't bother here much.
Once again I'll reiterate the need for respect and decent etiquette.
We have no real control of the sp here. Too many here worrying about daily/weekly movement. Not necessary at all.
Lets take stock of whats happening in the world.
Life is really too short

Morning All
A lot has been posted in recent days. Take from it what you will.
Being in ggp now for my 6th year I have seen these lulls lows dips troughs whatever you call it...several times in varying degree during times between no news. It happens to all Aim stocks ggp no exception. Its the nature of the beast. You need to accept tolerate these swings without being annoyed anxious(realise not easy). Otherwise Aim is not for you.
We need to be patient. We need to look at the true fundamentals of what we really have here. Have trust in that and the personnel leading us. Our stoicism will most definitely be rewarded..imo.
I realise a lot of you newbies are underwater. Its only paper you know this. If possible buy more average down. I have been buying regularly since turn of the year (inc this morning another 100k fortunate to be able to do so) raising my average x4. I do not need to buy more. We have plenty. But I truly still believe it to be the best investment.
I'm not on this BB regularly now because its just not required in these transitional times. Let the factual posters post. Rest of us should chill a little. I realise its uncomfortable but theres nothing much we can really do. Except have faith. I'm a glass half full type of guy anyway.
I wish all Greatlanders the best outcome in these tough times.

You have got so many holders coming out on 1st posts on this. Some really LTHs aswell. Adds validity to a great idea.
Oz bars or coins any version would be great. Put me down for 5 if possible.
Plus I'd be interested in a couple of 100g bars aswell.

Gervaise was one of the main reasons why I and many LTHs held through some dark times..and continue to hold.
A man that understands Aim understands how MMs operate. Understands his role as CEO.
A man that puts his own money where it counts and genuinely values shareholders.
Integrity is what really carries great support. The subsequent results are evident.
All the best for the future.

An extremely pertinent post. Agree with you totally.
Lets not have this default that everyone new is a troll/charlatan.
Give them the benefit of doubt. We use to be the most welcoming of boards. Recently that has not been the case.
Help if you are able. Point in the right direction if you are able. Otherwise no need to respond. Lets see how they settle what they add /bring.
Any rogues are soon found out and can then be put down.
Lets show a little more respect and general courtesy.
And cement are place as the best BB on Aim

Paddy - No nerves here as you would expect. Also its good that its relatively quiet. That's what it should be in these lull times. Be patient, stay calm, have faith and believe in the sound fundamentals. No need to be on here everyday. Let the knowledgeable ones continue to enlighten (very grateful)
For those of you who can...take this opportunity to add. If you truly understand and believe in ggp its a no brainer. I have added 1.16m to an already decent holding since new year. But thats me. Each to their own.
Have faith and patience. 2 essential ingredients for being an investor...surely.

I'm still here. And adding for the last few weeks inc 100k this morning. Prudent to do so.
We are now upto approx 21m as a family. Don't have their exact figures.
Not bothering to post on here recently because there's nothing to say. I just scan in briefly once a day.
I cannot give all the newbies a better reassurance than adding here myself. Despite my average multiplying.

Great post.
This is Aim after all. Those who are risk averse shouldn't really be in here.
With the greater risk does come the massive rewards. Its about getting in early but after due diligence. About seeing all the fundamentals lining up to provide the possibility for that massive reward. Its potential management. Nothing guaranteed but real potential. Then just have faith and patience.
I'm in GGP my 6th year. Life changing already. Riding the inevitable rollercoaster of Aim at the moment there.
Patience is often the key ingredient with these types of stock...and luck

One can realise Sharebel's frustration.
But this is Aim and Aim is inextricably linked to MMs. It is dependent upon them to a great extent (see last year interview with a leading retired MM. Sorry don't have the time right now to search for it).
Why sell? PIs must still be selling. If you believe in the fundamentals why are you selling.
I'm adding and have been for a while. I know some newbies are adding and averaging down( still paper loss but they have belief).
Look at it as an opportunity. Remember Aim is not for the risk averse. But if you do your due diligence(assuming as investors you have done so) with all the info out there and the amazing help you get here from the knowledgeable ones...it is clearly evident that GGP is massively derisked at the moment.
Patience is all that is needed. Not necessary to be on this BB everyday. There are so many selfless knowledgeable posters here that keep us all informed on what is important.
Have faith and wait. Isn't that what being an investor is all about.

Firstly apologies to redleader et al. I forgot to top up on Wed 1pm as proposed for the collective buy.
However I have added another 100k this morning.
My faith here is unwavering. (Havieron if nothing else).
Just to reassure any newbies who may be sitting on paper losses at the moment, that most of us LTHs are still here and topping up.
I have almost x4 my average since mid 2020. Granted still pretty low.
Keep the faith. Patience is all that is needed.

It was always going to recover...esp for those who really understand where ggp is now. Granted the dips were heavier than in recent months.
It was a lot different say 3 or 4 years ago. Where you did need to hold your nerve while it rollercoasted sometimes dramatically. At that time the fundamentals were less shall we say... solid. And you had justification to be more weary.
There was always potential but GH was the main driving force for me at those dark times. I have always championed him. Which was proved again recently.
The rewards of holding are nerve back then is evident for us now. Thankfully. And I totally realise fortune has played its significant part. You need to be brave and then lucky on Aim. I'm afraid its not for the risk averse.
But what you need most is Patience. That has been the most essential ingredient here for all real LTHs.
I am not a trader absolutely useless at it but I do advocate trying to add on the dips (like recently) if you can afford to do so. Those who are brave enough to trade good luck it would be prudent to use that to add more.
The derisk element now with ggp is a lot greater. So I wasn't at all concerned recently even with what was a pretty decent drop. Infact like I have said I was actually fortunate enough to add.
The journey here continues. I'm still onboard. In the lounging cabin. Chilling.

I'm up for this.
I'm not cynical maybe naive.
Its no big deal. I'll go with the flow just for a 'collective camaraderie' if nothing else. Its not a lot of money. And remember I never worry about traders shorters etc. Its buying in ggp why not?
i don' t believe redleader1 had an alternative intention.
Don't read too much more into this than it is.
I realise that any difference in sp is going to be neglible. Thats not why I am on board.
I will be buying on Wed approx 1pm how much I don't know.
Anybody wants to join feel free.
