RE: It’s obvious - a diplomatic agreement has to happen13 Mar 2022 15:32
Zelinsky is going ahead prodded by the U.S not to negotiate. There several thousand miles away and has near-zero effects for U.S and mostly benefits. They couldn't care less about spilled Ukrainian blood when the Russian economy is being destroyed.
In 1996 a reporter questioned Ambassador Albright, U.S ambassador to UN about Iraqi Sanctions.
Reporter - We have heard that half a million children have died. I mean, that is more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?
To which Ambassador Albright responded,
I think that is a very hard choice, but the price, we think, the price is worth it.
The response sumps up the U.S position on Ukraine as well.
