Dram agree the FX risk but personally was fortunate to pick these up at a silly price. 3 more years of divis and I have the shares for free. A share is only worth what someone will pay you for it, but a dividend is non negotiable. Once interest rates settle then the good businesses will step forward and their share price will move accordingly. May take a couple of years yet but take the divis in the meantime. This will get re rated.

Unvrkw, agree it is totally undervalued but so is so much of the UK market and has been for so many years.

Hi Ripley, yes I did close my short in DLG in June.I opened a long in DLG in Nov @168 I'm looking to average into a long term hold on this for SIPP. I might be wrong but I think they will reinstate divi soon. Premiums are through the roof at the moment

I can't believe I've been doing this investing thing the hard way for the past 20 years. Looking at balance sheets, analysing the political environment. Managing the banking crisis/COVID/dot com bubble. All I needed to do was to look at some green and red sticks. I wonder whether Warren Buffet knows about this?

Was fortunate to buy these when they were silly price so I won't ever sell unless something political happens but IMO worth £50 all day long

More bad PR today. I've been short this for about 4 months or so now with the price holding relatively flat. I'm just waiting for results day
