The plan was to build up to 500tpa Pozzolan. Estimated 200-250 tpa for the first year. This is not dissimilar to Kirkland's setup.

I should imagine Patrick realises what a slow deal Kirkland got from Boral ;) Their plant still isn't built lol Sometimes it's good to be second on a timeline :)

Patrick has discussed all this in interview so all I'm doing is reitterating it. Capex opex is v low cost. Perfectly reasonable. Just dig crush and transport. Equipment rentable which was the plan actually. This was all laid out in the presentation if you care to read it.

The only reasoning for a JV would be phase two because costing for a plant would be 12-14mil if went alone. Popped perlite is worth ten times more.

I don't think there will be a JV now. I think he will go this alone because of the demand from various companies then eventually build up to phase two himself. This potentially unlocks much more value for the company and with signed contracts in place he would also be able to acquire a good bank loan if needed. We will see but JV is not the only way he can go here - he has options.
