Let us assume that JPM have 41,000,000 shorts. That would represent approx 0 .1%
At today’s price let’s say 15p
Total buy cost 41M x .15 = £6,150,000
We know that they in fact have a maximum of < 0.5% --- Less than 20,000,000 shorts
£6M to JPM would not even constitute a rounding error.
Now give it a rest. Shorts are not driving the SP in any meaningful way.
