When the word inferred resources is tossed into the argument to discount a valuation really makes me chuckle a tad. I have to agree with Lancerman in that regards that there are years of drilling data that has previously been assessed so there is some value.
My main point is do you think the board with all there years of experience/knowledge, analytical / survey advances still dont know what they have in those inferred quantities and more so , do you not think all the other potential bidders with all their experience / knowledge dont know what is there.
Below ground surveying science has moved along at the same pace as other sciences.
So to conclude everyone knows what is there it's only reaching a value which the board think is Fair. As alluded to previously afew billion would have been done now if it was that straight forward.

We are way passed that stage in my opinion as the last piece was the DFS , its now down to the price and that is all and hopefully between a few parties.

I would prefer to mine ourselves if thats the case , a lot lot more money to come with the only drawbacks being the SP would take initial hit and you have to wait longer. Would imagine 2/3 years before first real dividend.
They also have time to expand with new licences etc, they are then able to realise the true value and NOT 10 % in ground . Fag packet divi calc would be 50/60 p per year (1 mill ounce Mining Plan)for the next 20 years . What is not to like

No one is walking away from the deal in my mind for one it has been going on for a long time and secondly the non-binding offers would have had to be within the ball park to even progress to binding offers.
As it stated in the last RNS the deal is very complex and if bidder thought they were paying too much they would have walked long before this stage and the banks would have wrapped up and left.
The longer it takes the larger the offer ,with as some say a bidding war . Its presently a Perfect Storm for this deal and what price will be paid i have no idea but feel its going to be epic and i am erring on a Rowka valuation.
All we have to do is wait , I realise its painful but it is going to be worth it and at that point you will totally forget about all your supposed missed opportunities and just think WOW !!!!!!!!!!. My completion date is by the end of next week by the way and 100% by month end

No chance of trying your new boat or car out but you can spend your time looking at them on the Tinternet. No chance of flying off on a celebratory holiday 1st class of course. You would be a fool to hand in your notice at work because you would just have to sit in doors until they let us out again.
I know i thing defo this month but sod it FSP completion should now be on the 11th June THEN we can celebrate.

In totally agreement the the FSP RNS will land shortly , I have said previously the 1st 2 weeks in March and if not in those weeks , completion by months end 100%.
So not long to wait now.
