Price is about 70p today, but doubt they will stay there very long. Dividends are 4 times a year at 1.55p each 1/4.

There is still time pre 15th Feb, their ex div day.

Follow on news of 6th Feb. is most likely the reason for their continuous rise. Doubt anyone pondering over investing has missed the boat !

Standard Char. goes ex 6c dividend 22 Feb. so they could well rise approaching.

Also they might recover in share price after they have appointed a replacement Chairman. They are intent on boosting the share price. It's unusual in today's market conditions for the share price to be below £6.

Investment bank Liberum, in a note to clients, said: "Aside from a little timing difference that has already reversed out, Futura is progressing in line with expectations and today’s trading update is a timely reminder of how much progress the company has made and how little credit it has been given for this progress."

At 8.39 am, the shares were up 10.1p at 37.8p. Liberum reckons there is still a lot further for the stock to go with its 131p price target.

It's been a long wait, but it's all kicking off nicely by April this year.

The company said it had signed a rig deal with Star Valley Drilling, for the 101 rig, on its onshore Loukos licence. Chariot expects to begin its first two-well campaign around the end of the first quarter this year, it said.

It expects “imminent approval” of environmental authorisation for a 20-well plan onshore.

The first target is the Gaufrette prospect. This is up dip of an existing gas discovery, with similar seismic anomalies that the company has seen offshore.

The second prospect is likely to be Dartois. Gaufrette has a best estimate recoverable prospective resource of 26 billion cubic feet, while Dartois may have 20 bcf.

Chariot CEO Adonis Pouroulis said the year was starting with “multiple important catalysts”. Work on the Loukos licence focuses on “an overlooked onshore basin that has near term production potential with immediate access to industrial markets”.

Cameroon is going to be successful in the near future and even if these shares are tucked away for maybe 18 months, it's best to buy some at this very low price. Well gone are the recent low, low prices of .085p - .13p. Large buyers of the share some 4 months ago might be the sellers today reaping quick profits and just moving on. I wonder - ' Are many long term investors still holding shares in STRATEX INT. ? ' It was Oriole's previous name.

Was expecting a better yield for their dividend that goes ex div 22nd Feb. They have risen well in the last two days & that might be enough to tempt large investors. Not really worth their while hanging on to qualify for the dividend. The rise after their results would have been good enough. Could see a lot of selling today. Also I don't like the following forecast.

I was told it was close to £5 - 30 earlier on. But saying that a recent broker forecast is only £5 - 40.

RBC raises easyJet price target to 540 (500) pence - 'sector perform' Umhh !

Excellent that AAZ have posted with exceeded copper results. Had this share when it was £1 - 20 + and paying a decent dividend. Realise the dividend will not be returning in a hurry, but seems to have been oversold, so it may get back to the eighties in price fairly soon.

Some of us have been holding on since buying at below £. May of sold some on the ride upwards, but it may have peaked and news about G E won't help RR.

Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC (LSE:RR.) was the biggest FTSE 100 faller today, sliding on the back of a weak outlook from General Electric for the first quarter of 2024.

Seems popular does gold, so why should Solgold be under 10p ? Patience is needed for this stock and it will deliver big time. May even be bought out. Have just noticed it has risen over 4% hence a buying frenzy is sure to occur and I have written this note as a result.
