Nothing from Heidi yet so I e-mailed Gilda Berimbau who manages the registry section direct, using similar format from Heidi’s address. Not hoping for too much tbh.....
Google “Computershare offshore” and scroll down to Head of Offshore. Her e-mail is available there.
What would happen if I published her e-mail on this board (not that it can’t be found any other way) and those interested in a cert bombard her with the same question? Would the post be deleted like so many others? Just a thought.....
Thanks for that Jon - took me well back.
Apologies, no offence intended Rodney (or Del Boy). It was the final line of a TV advert aired way before Fools and Horses ever hit the screen. I liked the advert so much I can’t remember the product that was being advertised.
It was set in medieval times and a line from it was “Thomas, one day man will walk on the moon” (substitute Fronterra will relist) and of course he was jeered in derision, and the final line was “One day, Thomas, one day..” Only posters of a certain age may remember it.
I can hang it alongside my certs for Rolls Razor, Hawkstone Minerals, Hastings Exploration and Target Resources - I could go on but it’s so embarrassing. Just don’t call me Jonah !!!!
One day Thomas, one day...............
I posted nearly two weeks ago that I had been in touch with Computershare Jersey re the above. Heidi Wilson passed the enquiry on to their registry team and she assured me that the team would respond "directly". I'm sure no one will be surprised when I say I have not received a response as yet.
I sent Heidi a reminder as such and will let the board know if I recive anything back.
Just received an e-mail from Heidi at Computershare in Jersey which says she has spoken to their Registry Operations Team Manager and she or a team member will get back to me directly - a step forward?
I have just e-mailed Heidi Wilson at Computershare Jersey who apparently also looks after the Cayman side of things. Will let you know when/if I receive a reply re our holdings and where the records are kept.
Thanks, my initial request was to Computershare here who pointed me at Computershare Inc who pointed me to Frontera themselves, who of course never replied to my e-mails - Computershare Cayman is a step forward! Thanks again.
Can I get a definitive answer as to who holds the shareholder register?
EQI told me to speak to Computershare who told me to speak to Frontera, outcome not even a mention of certificate - it’s out there somewhere..... but not in my hands.
Maybe my holding will get resurrected when it gets there......
Hopefully mine will magically appear as a “holding” in II - it was my only holding, as far as EQi are concerned it’s only a small cash holding keeping the account open, on which I am still paying quarterly fees!
Sorry for hopping onto this post but I’ve just received an e-mail from EQi (Selftrade) telling me my account will be transferred to II in the summer. Glad I printed my transaction records and record of the holding before de-listing but still don’t know how to prove my holding if this comes back.
You’re lucky to have one, many haven’t ......
If so, they would probably ask “Do you want to have 5% of something or 100% of nothing?”
I have a screenshot of my holding taken prior to delisting and Eqi gave me directions as to how to get my transaction history so managed to print the transactions in Frontera. Proof of holding and transactions, no problem. The big question is IF they come back where do we stand on the first day of frenzied trading?
I wish Selftrade would tell me not to worry - all they say is contact Computershare who say “nothing to do with me guv” speak to Frontera who never come back. Selftrade has told me in no uncertain terms that if I don’t present them with a share certificate they won’t load my holding onto their trading platform, therefore no selling (if or when) for me and others who have raised this problem on this board.
Hi Steve, at the risk of upsetting Orangeman again, this is an e-mail I received very recently after asking the same question of Selftrade (now Eqi) “Please be advised that our records indicate these shares were withdrawn into certificated form and issued to customers directly from the registrars in 2019. If you did not receive this certificate or would like further information pleas find the registrars details below - Computershare Investor Services (Jersey) Ltd, Queensway House, St Helier, JE1 1ES - Helpline 0870 707 4040”
When I e-mailed Jersey for a response they gave me an e-mail address for Computershare US who responded to my enquiry that I should contact Fronera resources. I did and got no response. Since some people have mentioned they got a response from info@frontera-resources.com I sent them the same enquiry asking for any help they could give me. This was a week ago, as yet, no reply.
Will let you know if I get one, regards, Wattie
