I was moved to II when Selftrade folded. When FRR delisted they were removed from my holdings and therefore no holding in II, anywhere. My only hope is that the transactions records passed over clearly show I am a holder.
II say they won’t post a holding unless they receive a valid certificate which few have - I certainly have not got one……. One day maybe……
As things "appear" to be going in the right direction re FRR, I thought I would enquire of II the mechanics of getting my holding they inherited for Selftrade put on the system. They have my transaction records which prove my holding but this was reply "If the stock isn't held electronically with our self's online and held as a share certificate, then we would require an original copy of the share certificate to be deposited by crest transfer forms online before we could action any sale in regards to the stock in question."
Back to the same old question - where will the Certificate come from???
Not about Frr but II…..
Ever since being told to move from Selftrade to II I’ve had to pay £9.99 a month for the privilege just to keep my purchase transactions and holding alive. As I have never made a trade since (and never intend to ever again unless it is a sale of FRR) my monthly bill has been reduced to £4.95….. what a result!!!
The only other good news I would like to receive is a certificate turning up on my doormat - the only comment I can make regarding that and to all genuine long term holders is…… “Be lucky”
Wattie
Surely apologies must be due to our dear departed Roy - enjoyed the post though :)
Believe me I have tried but ran into the same brick wall - Idid get reassurance from ii that they would reinstate the holding if it ever comes back to market. All the transaction records were migrated at the changeover, so I hope for the best.
As an afterthought I did take screenshots of my holding and transactions with Selftrade, so something to hold onto I suppose. Can you imagine, these shares come back to market and there's nothing I can do??????
I was with Selftrade when I bought them, they delisted and was told to get a cert from the Company. I tried and tried and tried......................
You're lucky to have one, I've had no luck in finding one. IF (and it's a big IF) the shares come back to market, I hope I won't be forgotten.
This time next year……the Russians will be in……..maybe…..
For all shareholders who accept this company is dead and gone - why post anymore???
On the other hand, my "holding" came across from Eqi...... who told me I had to contact FRR for a cert. Will speak to ii anyway, nothing to lose.
That's interesting - I might have a conversation with them myself. If I have paper proof I have no need to keep my ii account open at £9.99 a month.
I had a secure chat with ii telling them the transaction records transferred from Eqi to themselves totalled my holding which was removed from Eqi. They replied that should FRR return to market they would load the holding onto my portfolio. Sounds ok to me.
Selftrade took them off holdings as soon as they de-listed
Is iii the same as ii to which I have just migrated from Eqi?
Re Frr’s share register that is.......
That’s music to my ears - has that been verified?
Just been looking at the Eqi/ii transfer details. The upside appears to be they will transfer 5 years of records, so my Frontera transaction history will be safe - the downside is £9.99 per month fee with one free trade. My only “holding” is Frontera, which is not a holding in reality and I will not be trading any more. So my dilemma is.... pay a tenner a month just to keep the transaction history or close the account and rely on the transactions I have printed off from Eqi so that in the unlikely event Frontera ever rises from the ashes I have some sort of “proof” that I am a holder.
I did message the shareholder group my holding some time ago, so they can back me up?
Any views? (No trolling please:)
A lot of us are in the same boat I’m afraid. The best I was able to do was print off a list of my transactions in FRR and take a screen shot of my entire holding when it was delisted. Tried the registrar for a cert and they just said “Not us anymore, try Frontera”.....
Finally received an e-mail from Computershare Jersey saying the no longer act for the “Client” Frontera and have not since July 2019 and the last contact address they had was Fromtera Resources Corp in Houston.
I see mention of a Company Register in other posts but how does one access it to prove our holdings?
