pumpky - consortium antibody test is a finger prick test - Mologic antigen is saliva - not sure om the AVCT one

Add to that ODX also have a strong pipleine of non covid with intentions to grow this part of their market to £80-£100 million PA - eg CD4 , food intolerance etc

Also interested to see how we grow into lateral flow antigen with Mologic

I made the mistake of selling NCYT at £1.65 - Thought i was the cat that got the cream - not making a similar error with ODX

Although id sell NCYT now - not sure theres too much steam left in it now but there's definitely in ODX

You say that Alan - isnt it Twitter where the first words on the placing were heard. So i think all sources are good as long as you dont take every word as gospel - dont forget this is AIM and as such is a leaky sieve

Its quite simple people want quick returns in AIM - this isnt as quick as hoped. Lack of news flow simple as that - but it will surprise a few that have or are selling - they wont get back in easily when news does at last hit. - Hold tight IMO

I tend to empathise with those pn here that are frustrated - news flow has not been anywhere near as most of us thought - and would not be dropping if we had news. And its harder each time to increase
Ive no doubt this is a great business and medium to long term its definately a great one to be in - Im going nowhere - it wil grow and it will happen when we dont expect it
Just frustrating!

Important points to draw from this

1. have an approved device available six months afterwards. (So July 2021 and we know things tend to be slower than expected)

2. Rapid antigen tests are seen as key in rolling out mass-testing and re-opening economies

3. the industry may struggle to meet a surge in demand. - who will manufacture and just how many of these types of tests needed globally - all players are welcome and i bet still wont meet demand)

4. help manage the pandemic in time for next winter. (quite late to the market - hopefully ODX willl be well in use by this point and consequently have advantage - they may even have an improved v2 by then)

5. Health officials have warned that the world will need to live with coronavirus even if a vaccine is developed. (this wont go away and neither will demand)

I agree in the most part but ignoring the quick buck people - i think most of us (inc Omega and Colin) expected a better flow if news by now. If that had happened the SP would be higher than it is now. As it is - we keep getting these gaps and no news - so it keeps stagnating making it harder to catapult back up .
That said it will defo come good - but would be happier if things happened just a teeny weeny but quicker - lol
But we are where we are - i would buy more but no spare cash boohoo

I do wonder where the RNS is for the £10 million overall order - surely this is price sensitive and requires an RNS / RNA

And there is no saying the previous result wasnt a false positive. or in the case in the news today where a person dies after re-infection they had cancer - so probably a compromised immune system. Either way if indeed there is re-infection it seems very rare.

Roger im aware of the difference between antigen and antibody - IMO both tests can be administered at the same time for a full picture and are applicable on all situations - but they still want control of the results
I also think both can also be administered at home - just they wont trust the public to be honest and to a degree I dont blame them

Ive always thought that the government wouldnt trust people do report honestly when it comes to testing but they would be ideal to administer in a controlled env with no lab and result back in 20 mins
To a degree the same for Employers , sporting events and airports / ports - they may be administered by non professionals but will be employees - again controlled
This is not saying home testing wont be available but results will be for own use as opposed to official

What is or has NCYT doing better than us? People keep saying this cant rise to £3 £4 or £5 why? If NCYT can can we? So whats different? Dont we offer as much or more with non covid ?

I think whats being missed here - isnt the fact its old news, incorrect news, put right, untrustworthy sources etc etc etc.........

Its the fact its being reported at all and not then handled - it is being read by the public and by potential investors (and users of the tests) They believe what they read and retain that information - this can have a negative effect on SP
We need some positive and consistent and regular positive news flow
This effects are investment and the use of our products both here and abroad - dont take it so lightly or consider it flippant - this needs to handled with urgency

Regardless of us being able to disregard negative comments about from Deeks. Dr Hilary The Science Media center or Prof Ashton - that stuff is out in the public forum and WILL do damage. It needs to be (if incorrect) not only retracted (normally in Tiny one liners of page 26 ish) The media then need to pick up the facts and accept they had wrong reports and celebrate British industry. Ive just written to Walbrook and cc Omega

I , and a few otherwise on here have done an exceptional amount of research - we arent coming up with figures of 300 plus because it makes us happy (although it does) do the reseach yourself - watch the presentations - listen to the content and potential then you get your range - if it gets there - yes alot needs to go right - but the potential is there
