That's how i understand it too Joey and Arkv. I wasn't aware of a need to compensate based on the nebuliser change but all of the SNG001 trials to date have been 6 MIU.

Scinv can you clarify what you mean about not doing a double dose
This is the October RNS; The trial will enrol 900 patients with an OSCI score of 4 to be randomised:
· 300 patients with one syringe of SNG001;
· 300 patients with two syringes of SNG001; and
· 300 patients with placebo.

They've now removed the lower dose which is the one syringe arm. So they're going with 2 syringes. Is that not doible dose?

Graking, you are so far off the mark there! The RNS demonstrates good working relationships with the regulators to get the drug out there and helping people ASAP. There will be plenty of volunteers looking for a treatment that helps

A takeover was never imminent nor have the company ever said they're after a TO. The silence is them getting all their ducks in a row.

Not sure how it would work in a TO with regards those positions. I figure each M&A would be different.

A TO may not the highest value option for Synairgen or its shareholders anyway. If they out licence the drug with royalties attached and the partner goes onto develop the drug for other applications then there could be huge value in it.

Then again, if they're developing a route to market as a broad spectrum antiviral then the target for outlicencing may be under consideration.

Not necessarily Chris. The company's hand is strengthened in any licencing negotiations if they can demonstrate they can do it themselves. RM said in the webinar that they need to be able to go it alone. He also said the licencing window will open from about Q2.

BTW, the company have never indicated that a takeover is what they're after.

I think the job ad is the cpmpany addressing the mid term strategy. They don't need these roles filled to satisfy government orders.

They're being brought in to support commercial launch and that's off the back of full market authorisation. The next RNS is gonna be a bloody whopper!

By the way, Synairgen have never said it is their intention to be taken over. Their aim is to licence the drug in a transaction with a large pharma who can manage the drug when it's licenced and in market.

Hi Oak, that is possible if the NIH/FDA take an active role in the DMC and recommend early application for EUA. There is precedence for this with Eli lilly's Mabs on Activ 3 (though they interfened there to stop the trial due to lack of efficacy). However, the dosing period is 14 days and the follow up is 14 days so highly unlikely we would see any kind of intervention in the first month to 6 weeks.

All this talk of TO's is nonsense at this stage as the company are now in a process to carry out P3 and achieve an approval ASAP.

HarChris, 370m is like a twix and a j2o to a large pharma! This drug is in P3 trials with a high chance of success, that alone makes justifies a value north of 370m.

Of course Blessed! They still need to go through each step successfully, and how long it takes is different matter, but the value of an effective therapeutic against covid is unfathomable. There is still no proven therapeutic for home use.

People still don't get it. I dont think there's a takeover imminent but this thing is going to the US where they pay top dollar for covid drugs. £25/5 billion in value is entirely possible

It's only down 2% BF. That's within a normal daily trading range. Anything between 3-5% is nothing to get concerned about in my view. It does look like the price is established above 90 now which is good.

Tattyhead, the nebuliser is not specially made for SNG and as far as i'm aware it's single use in terms of the course of treatment. So 1 per $3000.
