Confirmation from Biograd that their tests are supplied by NCYT. Theyre also now providing LFTs and they could very well be the NCYT professional use ones.

Biograd confirmed on twitter that they use Novacyt supplied PCR tests but not sure about LFTs. But thats not that important because its only 1 testing company and is indicative of the huge growth happening in travel testing.

This is huge! For example, if NCYT are getting £5 a test then they'll generate over £2m in revs a month, from 1 testing company.

It is an interesting point Neil, that after plugging all new products throughout Q2, the company has gone so quiet at a time when UK testing numbers are through the roof. Especially the LFT's.

Ryanair and easyjet don't fly 747s. They use short haul aircraft, 737s and a320s respectively. About 150-200 passengers per aircraft.

Theyre both listed companies though and they give detailed projections on expected traffic numbers. 2019 numbers were in excess of 240m through UK airports. This usually peaks in July and August.

Yea its all speculation but my thoughts were in line with kitzie. Maybe next gen lft antibody tests will not be enough for at risk patients who may need to be 'profiled' in more detail using a PCR assay.

I'm not sure it'll be an LFT as the patent is registered to Primerdesign, as opposed to microgen. Also, Plex has been used for PCR assays to date (winterplex, variplex, EscapePlex). The LFT offering are all Pathflow.

I think they've delivered all previously announced assays so IMUPLEX is very intriguing.

The UT is 349.3 on IG showing a 10.7 point drop from yesterday's UT of 360. However that 360p UT was an 11 or 12 point jump from the price at 430pm. It was a flat day today, but showing as 2.5% down because of the UT yesterday.

And yet the sensitivity is only 86%. Specificity is quited as greater than 99% but it needs to be 99.5% according to governments own standard.

I think there remains a great opportunity for NCYTs saliva based LFT even with the NHS.

Pretty sure the names of those kits are a coincidence but a potential partnership with Eurofins would be huge. A 17bn market cap company who are registered on the French exchange, it would be a very shrewd move.

Completely agree Larry, rev projections do not include any LFT revs. They also don't include the outstanding DHSC Q1 invoices.

It wouldn't take much to see that 100m projection double.

Bakky, the other framework is the Variant of Concern one. NCYT are one of only 4 or 5 companies on it. The amount of money that government has put aside for this one is yet to be established, as ar the other suppliers.

It is a good RNS and the home use LFT that is Saliva based is new information. The potential there is enormous, especially in light of the recent innova shambles. Government money will still be spent on school testing remember and a saliva based test will be of great interest. Additionally, it's another card that NCYT could use in the dispute.

The 2020 annual report is at risk of getting lost in all the noise this morning but its just as important. It reads like a prospectus and even if they removed the maximum disputed revs (129m), that report will make for good reading to IIs and potential buyers.

JohnnyKipper, we can't compare april/may revs with national PCR testing numbers because NCYT supplied enough PROmate in Q1 to support the NHS for the foreseeable. However the fact the PCR testing numbers have actually increased, and with the shift back to PCR instead of LFT due to variants, that PROmate stock may be getting used up quicker than anticipated.
