Not really sure what your upset about Mogadon. Major investors investing in companies, not selling and supporting the SP in times of value... ummm that would be good would it not. Maybe they are waiting for the likes of CTP to be bought out or maybe their time scales are little longer than your own. You don't win awards for investments if you are a terrible investor.
Now with regard to keeping the SP low, I understand your frustration as you are clearly a day trader and so for you there have been no gains in terms of SP, for myself I am around 3-400 % percent up with CTP alone and looking for a whole lot more. CTP when you factor in the 160-1 consolidation has out performed everything including the ftse 100 companies in my portfolio and looks like it will continue to do that especially now it has widened its target market. The reason it has been a little stagnent recently comes from a period of bedding in (which we were advised by the board about) and the fact that Oxford Technology balanced their portfolio after becoming a little over weight.
Myself and other 'investors' have taken full advantage of this period as news has been released and is not in the current price. Kestrel also took and are taking advantage of the currently low SP there adding a considerable amount since christmas. Which as you say they dont sell is a win win. Personally I think that period is over and the SP will move higher again soon. I see 120 as a fair price level currently and it will be heading 'towards' that over the next month or two.
With regards to MXCP I bought in the mid 1ps and sold at 3.89 so not a bad return and I am looking for a re entry here once the ISA window presents itself.
With regard to Pinn I am no expert and I am not invested, the SP was inflated on thin air and should not have been allowed to rise so much, the mates rates as you mention were a discount to what the SP should be, not where it was. But you cant have it both ways, over at CTP the board manage the SP and prevent rises that are undue. Pinn board did not do this and let the SP rise unnecessarily. But you cant be upset about both aspects as they contradict each other. Did you not look at the chart? I even posted at the time that PINN was too high and would be returning from its dizzy heights.
My post is not meant to be insulting to you, and I think if you still hold investments here in MXCP and CTP they will come good. I would not day trade either company.
