RE: Patent12 Jul 2025 15:23
The patent will certainly add to the credibility of the company and its value to prospective clients or those that would like to take fab over.
A while back we discussed end goals and whether fusion could be a prime candidate for take over or merger. The general consensus was that fab was and is, big pharma would be able to snap this up without breaking a sweat for many multiples of current share price.
We know from recent investor meet presentation and communications with the company that they have been in discussions with big commercial players with a view to licensing the products and services. The thought must have crossed their minds, especially given the improved merger and acquisition market, in the sector.
Someone raised why not just go to china and get services cheaper them? Which is a valid question.
My two cents on this is that fusion are world leaders with high profile names (not going to list them all) attached. And china sweat shop antibody firms aren’t. The obvious damage Covid did to chinas kerb appeal, there is the USA/china trade situation and of course the now the hopefully emerging patent protection for fusion antibodies.
When evaluating fab being pt protected in USA and UK is not just about an intraday share price move, it is a long term winner for the company , its credibility, its a stamp of trust, like being certified organic for a vegetable grow, it adds massive attraction
