It is funny how all the negative posters disappear at the same time, one might think they all go to lunch together.

An extra 20k added to your allowance is a nice perk and usually promotes price movements higher. Lots of brokers are slow to do the admin and often it ends up being in the days after allowance that we see the real gains. So probably next week due to bank holidays. But for those that don't mind picking up the phone and prompting they get in ahead.

New allowance tomorrow means any one with money can add more or buy in. Sure you can transfer from investment accounts but why bother, anyone doing this for a period of time will have built up many years of ISA allowances and we look forward to new allocations.
