07:46 I must be looking at a different RNS as this is just an update and they said they are still doing ongoing tests. Some of the tests are to possibly to see if commercial. But the real test will be to do a flow test, maybe next drilling season. This RNS just is letting us know where they are. Gives a lot of information.
With a possible takeover is there are minimum takeover price. I ask this as when I had shares in Debenhams (stupid me) and there was talk of Mike Ashley buying them out, there we suggestions that a minimum price must be at least what the SP was a year before. Would it be the same in our case?
06:50 I like your enthusiasm. I think 2.2p is a bit too high, after all when was the last time this share jumped about 70% in one day without any news. I agree we are undervalued. I would be happy with anything over 1.5p today finish.
I think a buyout might be on the cards but I don’t want a low offer, say 2p a share as I would like to think we could get at least 3p/4p next year. The buyout needs to be at a decent price.
I wonder, did all the pre data from the Harrier drill look really good. The plan was to drill and then sell on. Use the money to drill Heavenly-1 next year and put money in the bank. APDC was only going to be involved for this year for the Harrier drill and get a good return in a short space of time. Due to operational issues the plan had to be changed. APDC needed their investment back but still knew good oil was in the ground so that is why they pulled out as they only wanted to invest for the one drill. That is why they sold their investment back to 88E in cash and future royalties.
FO for 2022 at Project Icewine & Peregrine17 Jun 2021 13:35
On 10th November 2020 DW announced the commencement of the FO at Project Icewine. I understand this normally takes 6-8 months to arrange so an announcement could happen any time now. My question is will we have enough time to FO Peregrine considering we still haven't got the final results needed for the FO as the final petrophysical interpretation could be July/August.
23:23 You might be right. Maybe that is why DW left as oil has been proved and now it’s up to a bigger company to take over. Also, I think AG said others in the industry are interested in the results of Harrier.
08:57 Yes - I saw that as well, but you need to look at the whole article to get the overall picture of what they are saying. We don't want to take bits of it out of context, do we? Some good positives mentioned though.
