The b.o.d must not make promises they don't keep as in the European torps. OldRascal- this from the September presentation The Company continues to work with both the UKInfrastructure Project Authority and the lending banks, and the stage 2 senior debt financing due diligence process is ongoing.  Bank commitment letters are expected to be obtained from commercial lenders in the fourth quarter of 2018. I would say sirius are expecting the government guarantee. Also haven't they said it's essential they receive the guarentee. Don't you think they might have done their own due diligence before such announcements to check the likelyhood of getting it. Your "if it wasn't down the road, I wouldn't be invested" is fair enough.but it shows you aren't convinced about the project.youve been here quite a while( longer than me). I think you will soon be happier with your investment. All in my opinion of course. Good luck to all invested here.

I've a feeling you will be gone with the wind soon. Or are you man/ woman enough to come back and admit you are wrong. You never comment on the fantastic progress sirius are making as we type out our views on here. Fair enough you can warn us of possibilities of what may go wrong but you never balance it with the many good outcomes.

By the time stage two is announced the shorters will have jumped ship casual. So hopefully not quite as much cat and mouse play with the share price

It's not as if the government will be actually laying any cash out for the guarantee. They charge for the service
