BS I agree immigrants reduces wage inflation in the US which will limit the Fed but the tarriffs will reduce economic activity IMO and will cause the world to reduce interest rates apart from the dogs like the UK. In 12 months time the world will be worrying about deflation not inflation. Yes world economic growth will be effected by growth but inerest rates can fall to mitigate that and they will. Hence, the demand for copper will still be intact. I don't think Trump will cause a depression because the Fed will act and lower interest rates accordingly.

A tariff is a one off increase that is out of the inflation calculation in 12 months time. It means a government raising money by taxing the competition. I think the fed, EU and China will cut interest rates to stop a major slow down and the demand for copper will not dissipate. Their currency will also fall which will lower the effect of the tariffs. I do expect a sterling crisis within 6 months and so a sale of some assets in US Dollars in 6 months time would increase the value to GLR.

Tariffs are not always inflationary. In 1930 the last time tariffs were introduced in a meaningful way they caused deflation because they slowed economic activity. In the 80's Thatcher raised VAT from 8 to 15% and all economists at the time said inflation would rise when infact it crashed due to a recession. Everyone will be cutting interest rates even the US to mitigate a slowdown. The UK due to hgh imports will see much higher inflation and so interest rates will need to rise due to a weakening pound. HD to be fair an RNS in I think October said the drilling results looked so good at Shinganda that they started a fourth drilling campaign which would delay the imminent results. Cyber I think one of the sellers would be TIR because their investment philosophy is now different. That would equate to 6,500,000. TIR have even more AFP shares and some BZT.

I think there is a high probability of an RNS this week. I can't remember the last January we didn't get a non holdings RNS. What it would be for is anyone's guess.

Yes, we are due drilling results and yes I am depressed about the SP. It is not about the assets, the lack of cash, the management (IMO), the quality of the RNS's or the fact we have only doubled over 5 years it is a simple fact it looks greener the other side of the hedge. Dave summed it up when they said they've made money on AI. I don't think investors are just pulling out of GLR, they are pulling out of AIM. I have just bought another million because I disagree with the investors selling and it is my research, my choice and time will tell if I was right.

BS this a good point and would be a reason for the potential deal making in Zambia. However, the resources are still there and we have the cash to hold out for the right deal. No one last year at this point was discussing the power issues and so CB can't be blamed. I expect a better year on the deal making front this year but not guaranteed

Cut offs are subjective and are estimates of the total costs including what you pay the contractors and you might want to give a bonus to enhance the contractors profits.

BS I think you miss the point of actually having a cut off declared. XRT had a cut off grade at BR which was higher than the actual grade so it was not PROFITABLE to go a head unless the copper price rose above £10,000. So all costs and profits for contractors are included because why would any one start to mine at all. You wouldn't mine knowing there was zero profit or do you think as long as we have grades that meet the cut off we should mine hoping copper prices rise?

Cut off must include the contractors profit but maybe not a bonus. If you look at some potential mining the cut off is 1%, so the cost must include everything even contractors profit.

I used PREM because you had invested in it and Bird doesn't run it. There are few AIM companies that have doubled in 5 years and in the exploration market that is not bad.

I agree Iky that GLR is a bit of a trading stock but PREM is down 50% over 5 years and GLR is up 100%.. Prem might go bust and GLR cashed up for over 2 years. So your investment is worth 4 times more under GLR. GLR is doing well considering the rest of the market and it is not just a bird thing.

BS how long is a piece of string. I am happy to keep accumulating at these levels. I have not read a negative RNS since the star one 4 years ago, the SP is more than double what it was 5 years ago and we have more than 2 years of cash on current spending. Unlike BZT we don't have debt costing us £176, 000 a year, a partner like FQ holding us back or the lack of quality assets that XTR have. The biggest risk to GLR for me is Macro rather than management.

The timetable for GLR is not an issue for me. We just need to keep spending under control (something the current government needs to do) and get some life changing deals done if possible. We should not sell everything on the cheap to satisfy the moaners this year.
