So you are saying some investors know that something hasn't gone to plan. Can we find out what that is and how they have found out and who they are? I don't like the idea there is an inside group of the well-informed who have privy information.

I think the 12.5 years is how long the helium in the ground will last. Investing in Hex is not like investing in an oil major. It is a cake to cut up and share and then it is gone. If the price of helium soars, then it will be worth spending more money to extract harder to reach reserves.

The vast companies that use rare earths can afford the tariffs. They wail but they are loaded with unimaginable wealth which can be harvested by tariffs. Their rich customers can also afford the more expensive products. Some rare earths can be obtained from recycled garbage so more extensive recycling might be cheaper than paying the tariffs.

I was wondering whether by making difficulties in negotiating sales contracts a company could delay profitability and disappoint investors and depress the share price before quietly buying up the cheaper shares and then making good sales contracts. A company funded by share speculation is in a stronger position compared to one funded by bank loans which is why American companies come to London AIM.

That's a good answer and explanation of what I thought I might be seeing. Having watched "The Wolf of Wall Street" , I am alerted to how small-time penny share investors can be manipulated but that doesn't now appear to be the case in DME or Helix.
