Upshot on Housing. This Govt. doesn't give a hoot about housing. If there is any Govt. money in the future it's not going on housing I think it's going on NHS. There is a dire lack of workers with necessary skills in the industry and it has been beset with reports of bad workmanship. It is a shame but I am hanging on. Something has got to give. Perhaps refurbishment? We just need the right people to do it. Time will tell

Why is the news full of a downturn in house prices, strikes me that in these doldrums the media could do the housing market a bit of a boost, after all it has been the mainstay of the economy for years in and out.
