Ashton ; why would AA want to get involved with JAY, haven't they got enough of the Disko pie ?

On a similar note why does there need to be a new JV. ? I don't think either RM oe ES fancy a three way split, forget mining, two is company and three is a crowd.

RM did say at the meeting that the thought the market would tolerate a Raise it Kobold met the costs half way . Would JAY be able to raise half the drilling costs without decimating the share base ? If so isn't that the best route ?

However, if JAY can monetise their assets, and we all seem to agree their value, things can change in seconds.

eg the price doubled recently for the publication of some data on an asset they want to get rid of.

Disko, if it comes good ,will be on another level to that.

Thought this an interesting article. We all know that it takes a long time to build a mine but I didn't realise that the country with the longest timelime is Zambia and as we also know both AA and K are investing a lot in Zambia. As Zambia is also land locked it's hard to fathom why those companies seem to prefer it over Greenland.

I think you're very harsh on RM.According to Kobold one in a hundred mining projects come to production. Seems low to me but that's what they say. OK pan him for not being one or two or even say five in a hundred but I think you might struggle to find somebody with his knowledge and prescence in Greenland.

Well we all agree on something; Disko has been a shambles.

To me it looks like Kobold have reneged on the deal. Put this way would JAY have agreed to the first part of the deal if they knew part two wouldn't materialise; I think not.

I'm not sure we need drilling in 2025 although it would be good, we just need clarity.

Not sure why we went for a Battery Metal player in the first place. OK Ni and Cu is important for batteries but they also have industrial uses too. JAY, especially with White Flame etc is more industrial than BM.

Still with the shambles it is there is still plenty of meat on the bone.

Fair point re plates spinning, and yes new external funding is a necessary precondition for the share price to rise significantly.

Worth pointing out though that a lot of JAY's projects don't have large financial commitments; for LTH's rather than traders its a case of waiting for the tide to turn.

It's Kobold calling the shots at the moment but next year it will be different. My guess is that RM accepts Kobold have done us all a kipper and wants change. Have you ever heard him say anything effusive about Kobold ? It won't be their decision ?

I am aware of that; I suppose the point that is important is that it only takes a few holes to prove concept; that can work both ways. I think they will drill next year but I'd rather they got it right!

However, RM has said he is hopeful of good news shortly.

I know Ashton said the market wouldn't take too kindly to a delay in drilling, but I think a new JV with a clear course of action would overcome that.
