For new holders it's not a big deal as we came in very cheap , but long term holders who paid 12 pounds plus will have done so to a large extent because of the dividend

But they said business as usual , higher costs but equally higher gold price to last year so earnings / cash should cover , unless they decide to preserve cash for eventuality / reduce ruble debt

Why should the divis be cut if there are still many holders who bought in at 12 pounds plus , surely the divi will drive the price

I bought in at 127 and really was not expecting any significant rise without solid news of a peace agreement.

It doesn't really matter if it goes up and down as the true value for me will only come when the conflict is resolved, and in the meantime the extra costs as reported by the company should be easily taken care of by the current gold price.

It is nice to see the money doubled and more but the reason for me taking the risk was a far greater reward, in what many have described as a one off opportunity to hold a good amount of shares that will one day in the future trade at 20GBP plus

I live in a cold winter climate and my main source of heating is air source in a living room 10 metres x 8 metres - total cost per month for winter heating is 75 pounds

I think Ukraine was the catalyst for people to look for good safe investments which this was well before the UKR issue

It is to a large extent the cost of energy prior to Ukraine that was reducing the supply due to fertiliser factories cutting output due to high energy costs.

Fertiliser prices will not come down quickly even when Russia and Ukraine supply restored
