"I'll save you countless wasted hours of research. Air Source Heat Pumps don't work in the UK and are costly to install, unsightly, prone to 'teething problems', have replacement parts that are ridiculously expensive, get louder as they age making it feel like you have a 747 attached to the side of your house, use electricity to power the moving parts that increases your bills because as always, the cost to run them (over the next 5 years or so as they become less efficient through usage) is much higher than advertised, they also offer very little actual heat during the time you need them most, winter, and then WHEN they do malfunction, very few electricians know how to repair them properly."
I dfisagree having bought approx 10 air to air units over the years - most of which had an efficiency of close to 5 TO 1
Pay for 1 klw and get 4.xx worth of energy
I live in a cold winter climate and my main source of heating is air source in a living room 10 metres x 8 metres - total cost per month for winter heating is 75 pounds
