We have to face the fact though that this board ( and many other boards ) are a circus on a daily basis, mainly driven by desire to make a few extra pounds.

This is human nature and something that will never change in a society that primes people to be like this on a daily basis.

In my teens I joined a meditation community where nobody had their own money.

Many of us had a job and there were nurses , researchers , lorry drivers and pretty much every kind of person you can imagine from all walks of life.

All of our money was central and the group paid for whatever was needed.

I was there for 3 years and it was a very valuable part of my life when I look back on it and all without having a penny ' to my name '

We used to do this in the 80's you send the certificate to a broker and he sells , it worked fine then.

Then the market gave me back 100p on a large proportion of them , maybe average is the wrong word but even you will get the drift I am sure.

I sold the vast majority of mine at 310 , for 2 reasons , the directors were coming out with so many negatives about all aspects from sub standard parts lifetime to things being fatal and I though ***t , then I starting thinking what you said as the sp started to falter at 230 , but by the time I logged on it was down to 310, in fact I very nearly didn't take the quote as I thought this might be it.

Have since added a portion of them back at around 211 and so my average now is around 60p ish not worked it our properly yet as it's across 3 accounts , but think I will now proceed with this smaller holding until things are clearer. I can afford to pay more and still be in good shape.
